I am just getting into it here in CA. I did it for 18 months while I was living in Klamath Falls, OR. Worked alot for Gapbusters, they are fromm Australia, did almost all of their McDonalds shops good company. Merchandied for Home Depot, Lantis Eyewear, alot of shops came to me from Shadow Shopper, once you prove yourself they start e-mailing you with jobs. I look forward to getting back into it. Also try Merchendising, Demonstrating, all were a learning and rewarding experiences. RELIABILITY is a must. If you can't do a shop on time let someone know! BE fair in your reports and again I must reinterate RELIABILITY.
