RE: Your Mystery Shopping Experience

I have been mystery shopping about 5 months, and I have probably done about 100 jobs. I currently work for 2 companies, but I have probably applied to about a dozen or so.
I have been constantly doing research and reading every article possible to learn as much as I could to keep jobs. I am very happy working with the companies and would like to say that working in a timely manner, and reporting will get the frequent jobs. Being able to accept last minute jobs at a distance will also help greatly. Paying close attention and remembering events are also helpful. The only negative experiences were with my photos when I first started. Since then I have learned to master my camera and get the best shots I can.

I have only done a few Mystery Shopping jobs for a couple of companies and one is Gapbusters and I like working for them and Customer 1st. Like I said I love working for them yet I keep applying with other Mystery Shop Companies also. I have gotten really great Feedback from my Schedulers and that really makes me feel good. I was shocked when i got the Feedback but I was very happy also. You have to get the Details right and I try to make sure that I do that I go over them over and over again just to make sure I am following the Details and another thing is that to get your Reports in, in a timely manner. As soon as I get done with my shop(s) I come home and get right on the computer and get them in to the Schedulers and I know that is what they want and once more that is required of us. If you have any questions at all you can e-mail your Scheduler with any question you might have. Believe me no question is a dumb question to the Schedulers because they are there to help you also just like we are there to help them. You have to listen to them because they are not going to tell you anything wrong because they have people that they work for also and it has to be right. We cannot blame Schedulers if we are not paying attention to Details we have our selves to blame. This is a wonderful job I just plain love it and looking forward to doing more in the future. Please let's not be hard on our Schedulers because they are sending you these jobs because they want you to succeed as well as they want to succeed in their position. All we have to do is pay attention too what the Vendor wants through our Schedulers. Believe me I do not say that I am not going to make mistakes but just correct them and kee[ in mind what you did wrong before and you will not make the same mistake twice. When I first joined Mystery Shoppers as far as getting jobs I would read this Mystery Job Forum and you actually learn from reading what other shopopers have already experienced and it sticks in your mind. When I do Shopes there is nothing on my mind but to give our Vendors and Schedulers just what they are asking for and no more. Don not add your own opinion please don't unless they ask you for it and to me that is not hard at all. We are all in this together the Schedulers and the Shoppers. Good Shopping for all of us no matter where you live. Patience is one of our biggest things when you read some of these discussions some Shoppers are saying that they have so much work they can hardly keep up with it and that is because we all live in different parts of the Country and they have more work in larger Cities so those of us like myself who live in small areas like I do have to be patient because when there is work they will send them to yur e-mail address and it is up to you to accept it or not. I just love it and I hope all of you do. These Scheduylers will learn how you work and believe me if you do your job they will make sure that when they have something you will see an e-mail in your mail box. I still say that I credit my learning Mystery Shopping to Cathy Stucker's book I refer to it all of the time it never leaves my side because it is my bible for Mystery Shopping. By the way I love these discussions they are so helpful. I guess we owe this all to Jacob.
