Video shopping question

I came across these in eBay and wondered if anyone could tell me if they are good enough to video shop with. If not, what's missing or what should I be looking for instead. I tried searching for PV 500 and a bunch of results came up. The first link looked the closest to the camera I saw when taking a certification test on an MSCs website. Thanks guys and gals

Hi Lelou. The PV500 is what I use but not the lite version as I was told it has the drawback of not being able to fast forward from the device which I would find very irritating whilst out working as you don't know how you've done until you get the device back home.

I'm based in the UK but these guys are where I got mine and they were cheaper than I could find anywhere on ebay:

Both of those are the "lite" version. If I recall, people stopped using them becasue of a high failure rate.

If it was me, I would pose the same question over on the VSN forum, where the MSC schedulers and owners hang out and answer technical standards questions. [www.videoshoppingnetwork.org]

Also, at that site you will find a thread about the minimum technical standards for video equipment accepted by all of the major video MS firms. These have to do with resolution, audio quality, etc.
