Candy Mystery Shops

I just started mystery shopping but I have not found any stores that I like.

I really like candy and sweets and would love to do mystery shops for these types of stores.

Could you guys recommend me some MSCs that do these types of shops?

my email is wayne.chaw@gmail.com

If you guys could post or email me some recommendations I would really appreciate it!

I live in California (if that helps)

you could do grocery stores and just buy candy....you can get a milkshake at 5 guys burgers (you also need to get a full meal)......i have seen a shop for a 'candy' store (maybe a kiosk in the mall?) i don't remember what the MSC or candy store is..but it is one of the higher end fancy chocolates.

dairy queen had been shopped..but i think you had to buy certain things
See's is shopped in California but if I tell you the MSC I am in violation of the ICA that I signed with them and also I respect the forum guidelines. I am sure that if you sign up with the top companies you will find this shop fairly easy. Good luck - reimbursement is not much but the candy is good.
Well this is how I did it. Under the official list of companies there are the top 10 or 15. I wasn't interested in all of those companies so I went to the bottom list to see how many discussions there were for those companies. The companies that had the most discussions I signed up for after reading what other shoppers felt about those companies. Another way is to use Google. Type the company that you are interested in - say See's - and google mystery shop after the name. Good luck....

Welcome to the forum, Wayne. The candy and sweets shops, speaking generally, don't pay much. They don't reimburse much, either. My recommendation, as a fellow candy-lover, would be to sign up with lots of companies and get a good feel for the shopping assignments in your area. After doing a couple of shops, use some of the profits on your favorite candy.
The candy shops don't pay much but they are fun and easy. If there I one in a mall close to me I'll do it. I can usually find a reason to go to the mall anyway. smiling smiley
Wayne, as several of the candy companies that are shop have been mentioned, we cannot mention any companies that shop them because it would violate the Independent Contractor Agreements [ICA] that we sign when we register with the MSC.

Godiva Chocolates and It'Sugar are also shopped.

I think at least some of the Sassie ones show up in PrestoMaps as "Candy Shops". Open that up, check around your local nicer malls and use the dropdown list to find them.
See's! Lordy, do I love my Scotchmallows...also, lollipops. It's probably for the best that they don't have a store in NYC.
I have once. All I can say is yummy!

Gertrude Hawk is shopped.

Just finished a Fannie shop about two hours ago, it reimburses 15.00 and I found I don't like their stuff as well as a local place three hours North of me.
The Lindt shops have a generous reimbursement. They are great around chocolate holidays. I just did one for Easter basket stuff. Their chocolate is tasty and they can put it in their coffee which is doubly good. The report has quite a bit of narrative, but once in a while, I don't mind.

Lindt is good a bit nit picky, but its a $20 reimbursement, and about 8-12 pay, pends u can do them every 90 days, I did Godiva at the same time once and they were just stupid obvious with a $10 pay and a $5 reimbursement there's nothing in the place for $5....Lindt is great cause I get the breakage and thats discounted alot, so for $20 you get 3+lbs of broken easter bunnies!
At the moment I cannot tell you which MSC's offer the candy shops, but I do See's Candy and I do Moonstruck. There should be a ton of See's in California for you to do. If I come up with the MSC, I will post it.
I used to do See's but have not seen them in a while however not a huge reimbursement. Godiva also a relatively small reimbursement but they often have their 3.5 oz bars on a 3 for $10 sale so that is a decent purchase and as a bonus if you spend $10 in a year you also can get a free candy once a month and $10 to spend in your bday month.
The Godivas here in California now have soft serve for $6 that would fit into the reimbursement and here in California it is almost always soft serve weather.
The last World Market I did allowed me to choose candy bars as my purchase.
If you can find the Sprinkles cupcakes shops, they are mostly frosting...not much cake so it really will fit your chocolate candy frenzy.
And Wayne, when you get enough shops under your belt to qualify for fine dining..they always require a dessert purchase so you can top your meal off with some wonderful sweet dessert. If you choose the cheaper entrees instead of the steak or seafood for dinner you can afford several desserts under the reimbursement.

It would be a violation of your contract with the mystery shopping company and of the forum guidelines to either post or PM their name since the client has been mentioned. It is why you have not seen any other responses including the MSC.

I have a garden shop like that. The narrative is a pain in the butt but I spend so much money at that store anyway it helps pay for some my gardening costs.
