This is for Judy. Where do you live, try www.epmsonline.com they usually have quite a few assignments all over the US, and I find that I can get work from them on a consistent basis. Because their pay is higher than most of the companies I work for, I am willing to drive a little (up to 100 miles), except as you mentioned with gas prices being the way they are now, I try to have at least 3 shops for the same area or nearby to make it worth my while. It takes a little research sometimes if one company does not have enough jobs, but I'll generally map out my trips for that day in advance. Hope that helps.
