Chicken fried steak platter, yuck!

I was a little excited to see that an MSC had new shops for a FF chicken place that I like, only to discover that the requirement is to order the chicken fried steak platter. They popped up on the website a few days ago and they are all still sititng on the job board, so I guess I am not the only shopper who feels the same way I do about it, LOL. I would eat a chicken fried steak platter at Denny's but not too sure I would be happy with the one from the chicken place. Anyone else see those in their area?

If this is the FF I think you're talking about, I wish I knew who shopped them! I just love their biscuits and their slaw and their mashed potatoes and their pot pie...I would guess I have a very low culinary threshold!

I don't like that kind of food. I am the only one in my family who thinks "biscuits & gravy" is disgusting. I haven't seen this shop offered, but it's not one I would consider.
I have seen these on the board as well as they are sitting. Not only are they for a Chicken Fried Steak platter but they only pay $4.00 shopper fee. This is the same MSC as started this with Subway and since has had to raise the Subway price. I guarantee most of us here are already working for this MSC as it is a large one.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.

I refuse to take that shop, mostly because it only pays $4.00. They are sitting where I am located as well.
I just don't think that the chicken fried steak would be good there and I am not willing to chance it. I might do it later if the fee goes up and give the food to the college kids next door. Ericad, let us know how it tastes. Ceases, I am pretty sure it's not the FF chicken place you are thinking. I don't recall ever seeing pot pies on their menu.
SunnyDays, that's what I have an issue with: the reimbursement. I rarely eat fast food, convenience foods (ie, 7-11), pizza or burgers, so if I do the shop, it's just for the fee. The reimbursement has to cover 100% of my costs.

I thought about doing one just to try the food but I am not fond of chicken fried steak.
I accepted the shop and once I realized I had to order the chicken fried steak I declined it. I don't like that dish, but plus I was hoping I could just get chicken, biscuits and a side item. They are just sitting there in my area as well.

Honey, if my reimbursement is $8.00 and my lunch comes to $8.29, then I have just paid 29 cents for my lunchsmiling smiley
Uh $4 AND they're revealed? Yeah no thanks.

Meh my hubby liked it lol...Very easy shop and since I'm not sure who does the unreaveled, I'm good with my choice to take it..
This new shop is not only poor paying but they have "torpedo the little guy" requirement to give an OOPS certificate AND get their name AND report their name/s. Not very NICE. It is a convoluted, highly gilded shop with "drumstick points" -- and oh yeah -- you only get paid to do the DT - but expected to sneak inside and check the inside too. SHHESSSH. I am NOT keen on turning in names of those that "fail" (OOPS!!!) up the chain of command. Pretty mean spirited and they get a chintzy $10 each. Gotta print out 10 of each of those tiny certificates -- 5 OPPS and 5 WINNER! certficates. The servers work hard for crappy money -- and now they get REPORTED because the "failed" the test? ...........stop being so mean famous chicken place. (NOT KFC and NOT Popeyes- the other place.)

I don't believe the MSC was listed. Just say Church's Chicken is crappy for doing this. I don't eat there anyways, but I agree this shop stinks.

I love this particular chicken place and will do what it takes to get the chicken! smiling smiley

I have not done this particular assignment, just the regular shops Walk-in and DT. But still, I love their chicken. This is very similar to the sandwich place though, you give them the Ooops ticket or the Winner ticket, you report their names, pass or fail, and they get the $10 gift card if they win. Do I think it's mean to get their names if they don't win? No. It's all about training. The ones that don't ask for upsells and extra meat, get further training to get it right. smiling smiley
This has to be one of the worst shops ever. There are at least 10 in my area that have sat untouched for at least 2 weeks.
The Arby's shop that I did, I was out of pocket $0.03. I did eat that one. I don't think I can turn down french fries.

The Blimpie's shop that I did was reimbursed fully. I didn't eat that because it was a gas station sub shop. Plus, the lunch that I made was better!

Mmmm, that Arby's brisket for October was quite delicious. I couldn't care less about the fries.
Several months ago I did two Arby locations three days apart. I ordered the same sandwich but got two different sandwiches. The cheese and sauce were different on each of them. I loved the first one and disliked the second one. I was shocked that they were so different.
