MSC's with presences on Facebook

Here is a list I put together of 72 companies/schedulers with a Facebook page. Some companies use their pages effectively to let shoppers know about the latest opportunities; some have a presence, but don't post. I have posted this to my blog (which is free, doesn't sell anything, is non-monetized and ad-free.)

That's a great blog. Thanks so much for sharing this information!

Another company just made a fan page:

I updated the blog this afternoon to note the above company and another that had a presence before, but now has made a fan page.

I find it interesting the connections I am making using my FB mystery shopping personae, since use my personal FB in an entirely different manner and do not talk about shopping at all there.

I had requests from several MSCs to join them on Facebook. I don't like the idea as I'm all for staying covert as a Mystery Shopper. Facebook is too big and it has had recent problems with privacy issues.
I'm not sure why do MSCs need to be on Facebook?
I share your feeling, Steve. I'm not sure that I want all the MSC scrutinizing my Facebook comments, association, friends. etc. That's a separate life.
There are wwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy to many businesses and companies putting themselves on facebook and twitter.

I'm sorry but that's too much like big brother watching you and carrying on a conservation with you.

On this Forum, one can be anonymous. On the social network if you aren't using alias, you are right about the scrutinizing of these networks. One could possibly dropped b/c of what was said.

I want to keep me to me. I will looked at them through their website but will not enter them through mine.
lol - they tell us we have to be confidential and not disclose our relationship with them (MSC) to anyone else, yet they want to have us become a fan or a friend on facebook. Isn't that a direct conflict?

I won't do it. smiling smiley
This top secret stuff regarding Independent Contractor Agreements cracks me up. Maritz web site, for example, peddles their company as follows:

"We are proud to say we’ve partnered with most of the Fortune 500 companies, and that 30 of the top 50 Fortune companies are currently on our client roster. We value these relationships and are proud to claim over 90% retention of our existing clients. The list below represents a few of our clients.

And yet I risk prosecution, maximum security prison, deportation, castration, etc., if I happen to mention the name of a fast food company in the same thread as the name of the MSC?

No real MSC can be successful not knowing their competition. Certainly every MSC knows the clients of other MSCs.
Facebook has shown they play fast and lose with their subscriber's information. For that reason, I refuse to use my facebook account for "friending" MSCs.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
I tried with ICCDS and found nothing...better to just go to their site.

Live consciously....
