Apartment shop

So I signed up for this targeted shop where you *67 your number before you make the call. It so happens that the *67 part didn't work and the number dialed directed me to the wrong property. I got two phone calls from an agent stating my number showed up on their caller id and he wanted to know if I was in need of an apartment. I totally played dumb and was like no idea what he was talking about.
So I contacted my scheduler and informed them of the situation and gave info of their person who called back, their number and the name of the complex. They stated they never had this happen and they placed my shop on hold.
So here is my issue....... The due date is tomorrow and it states that I am not to proceed with the shop until I hear back from the company/ scheduler. I have gotten emails reminding me that the shop is due tomorrow and I need to update the shop on my progress. The tag still says on hold...... I have sent a message to the scheduler.... No response.

Do not do the shop until you hear back from your scheduler if that is what your instructions state. You may want to make a copy of those instructions or a screen print as your backup.

A few years back software became available that reveals who called even with *67 and evidently the complex has that in their system. You cannot trust that *67 will not be overridden. What you can do is set up on line numbers such as Google Voice without a name attached so they can see the number calling but not tie it back to you. There are other tricks I'm sure others can tell you, and your cell phone may have an efficient way to protect your number.
Hi Solidkay. Ignore the email reminders for this shop, and wait to hear back from the scheduler.

I had one of their shops go sideways due to an error on their client's side. I gave the scheduler all of the information she requested (call attempts and outcomes) so I could get paid for my effort. There is nothing else for me to do, but because the shop was never closed out online, I get the reminders.

I agree to follow whatever your scheduler says from this point on: "but" what if (as far as the target agent is concerned) that you were a "wrong number" to him and if your shop/phone has functioning #67 block, why can't you proceed if your number is actively blocked? (with permission, of course).
Sunny, how could she proceed if she had the right number to the wrong location? What else was wrong?

This MSC had me shop a maintenance employee as my target. He was none too pleased when I was finally able to reach him.

@Sunnydays2
I didn't reach the target agent or correct location. The location is in Ga, but the location I reached is in Texas.

The reminders are set up in the system to do just that. Do not do the shop until you hear from the scheduler. They have to go to someone else higher up that makes decisions. You did the right thing. Unfortunately, you will have to wait for the decision. Best wishes.
