coffee shops

Where are all of the coffee shops? I haven't seen any in so long. I miss doing them. Does anyone know of any and who does them. Hints please!!

I shop Peets and CBTL. CBTL is locally shopped, though, not nationally shopped. Peets is only in certain areas. Seek, and you will find. Keep signing up. I see shops in other areas that we do not have here.

Edited to add: And last time I shopped for that MSC, and I won't ever again and went so far to deactivate myself, SBC was also shopped on the West Coast.

Never heard of Peets and have no clue as to CBTL or SBC. I did seek.. I posted an email here to get help. LOL I used to do Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks but haven't seen any. I thought maybe they switched MSP's.
Allow me to paraphrase; It depends where you are located.

On the west coast (and dee is included in that, though very west), there are a number of popular coffee shops that are still shopped.

SBC=Seattle's Best Coffee
CBTL=Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

For me, the CBTL shops are so infrequent that I don't really look for them, and SBC stopped being a good deal when I could no longer combine it with the bookstores many were located in.

In LA we have my personal fav, Urth cafe, which is shopped regularly, and you get a whole sit down meal as part of the shop too. You can also get coffee with really expensive cupcakes in Bev Hills, but good luck getting paid if you take that shop!
I do the "El Cheapo", Joe Muggs here in Bama. I use it as a start to my day if I have other shops on the way....

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
Steve..do you do Peets...I used to, but now they tell you what to order and I don't like latte's. Who does Coffee bean? I am spending a fortune on Starbucks every morning, but it's my way to start the day although the coffee isn't all that.

I don't suppose that Dunkin Donuts are shopped anymore. I used to do them with one of the "service" companies, but since that company obviously lost the account. I never saw anyone else pick them up, either.
They were picked up by another outfit, then stopped being shopped and I understand are now shopped in select areas.

I saw Dunkin Donuts being shopped, but since their a Franchise, not all are shopped.

I forgot about Pete's. I hate being told what to order, so I rarely take those.

Perhaps we need another thread titled, "If the meal is my compensation, what can't I pick what I eat?"

In the days of the Krispy Kreme shops, you would also get coffee with those. That experience cured me of ever wanting another donut shop.

I LOVE Peets! Recently saw a story on Food Network about the founding and evolution of the company. They had the dinner impossible guy making meals that used their coffee and teas. But I only apply when I like the choice. Unlike SBC's MSC, they tell you what you need to order BEFORE you apply, so if the choice is not appealing, you just don't bother.

So far they have only had one choice I did not choose to go for. :-)

However, I do prefer CBTL because I can order whatever I want as long as it requires a barista interaction, and not the cashier getting it for me.

No, the coffee tastes just like the donuts. It's TOO good!

I removed myself from the KK program before the financial problems happened, based on the caloric intake I suffered from taking the shops.
Peets is my all time favorite coffee....but I buy it on my dime since I can't get my favorite expresso. They are on the board..Steve there is one at the Glendale mall.

My all time favorite coffee comes out of the pot on my kitchen counter, costs less than a dime to make a cup and I don't even need to get dressed to enjoy it smiling smiley
Before reading this thread, I was unaware of Peet's. Then I saw an article in today's paper about a new shopping center, and it looks like Peet's is coming.

Hopefully the location that opens here will be shopped! I can't imagine a coffee beverage I wouldn't like, so being told what to order shouldn't be a problem. smiling smileysmiling smileysmiling smiley
There is a local place I visit on a regular basis. It is in gulfport and it is wonderful. The nam is jovo joes and it is great, and soothing.

Mine, also. I usually mix inexpensive brands of dark roast with more expensive brands of Columbian. Mainstream brands of dark roast like Folger's, Eight o'Clock, Maxwell House, Chock-full-o-Nuts, as well as grocery brands make up 50%. The other 50%, bought only when on sale, Columbian. Excellent coffee. And, if I have leftover, I ice it with a flavored creamer. Yum.
And a tiny pinch of salt in the dry grounds before brewing makes a whole lot of difference as well. I don't even bother with flavored creamer when I ice leftovers. And I brew it strong enough it actually has some body and flavor, not just the aroma that is about all the coffee shop store stuff has.
This is an older thread, but Beyond Hello now has coffee shops available, problem is...must order tea early in the morning....so, if your a coffee lover like I, no go.

BH's requirements change monthly. This month tea is featured. Mainly you are asked when you apply if you like the featured item. No like, no apply that month. More times than not it is a coffee-based beverage.

Intellishop has quite a few but they are 25 miles from me and are for 5-9 am. NO THANKS and pay too little for what they're asking.

The coffee shops they have in my area aren't really coffee shops, but they are shops of the coffee counter in a major gas station.
oh yea, Intelli has one I do at the convience store...they have good coffee, hot chocolate and stuff. I do that one now and then.

Unfortunately, they do not have one like that here. Good cocoa might be worth the 80 day wait for payment. Might. :-)

Since the pay is insignicant, and the location 3 miles from me...I do it for the lower gas, it's like a truck stop, so I fill it up. You purchase a candy bar and any coffee, cocoa, great choice drinks. I kinda like to do that shop, yes, long time to get paid (but you do), wouldn't output a big amount, but 3 or 4 bucks and a fillup works.

I signed up for a coffee shop locally to me for next week, my first coffee one, so it should be interesting.
Oh, I think I know who y'all are discussing now. I have never ever been to one of those places. In the states I have lived in, in the specific areas, we did not have those. So I have no idea if the beverages are decent or not. :-) But the BH one has GREAT beverages.
