Tipping for delivery pizza shop

So, the job description says it will reimburse a $2 tip. I always tip more than that if I get a pizza delivered to my house. Can I tip more (not that I expect to be paid for more than the $2 tip), but can I do that?? And would I just report the $2 tip - even if I gave $4?? I don't want to get in trouble but I also don't want to be cheap with my tip.

I always tip more, too. I don't remember for sure, but I think I just reported the $2.

You can always e-mail the scheduler and ask.
I always tip more than $2 and enter the full amount of the tip I gave. For the pizza shops, I've never received more than $2 in reimbursement. No problem. That's what the guidelines stated. However, for other shops, I've been reimbursed the full amount of the tip, which was a very pleasant surprise.
I just found a pizza shop that says not to tip at all. I am outside the delivery area so I won't be doing it, but man that sounded awkward.
You can report what you tip but you will only be reimburse the tip allowance.

By the way, it's not "cheap" to tip $2 on a delivery of one pizza.
For me, the distance the driver has to travel is the major factor in determining the size of the tip, not the number of pizzas. I'm somewhat off the beaten path, and it's unlikely he will have other deliveries in my area, so I tip more.
That makes sense Chris.

In my area theres every major chain less than a mile from me. The drivers are also delivering multiple pizzas each trip as well. I asked one time why it took 45 mins for my pizza to be delivered when I live .40 miles from the location and they told me the driver had other deliveries in my area.
Yes, I didn't mean to make it seem like people tipping that amount were cheap. But where I live, I'm sure they would be going out of their way to deliver to me - even though I'm considered in delivery area ( I wasn't even sure I was until I checked their map)
Looks like freebie joined the forum today just to yell at us and give terrible advice. Three out of three of her/his posts were mean. The post above is plain-ol' wrong. Of course delivery folks deserve a tip.
