Personally, I do not like chocolate unless it dark/bittersweet and then only once or twice a year. Klondike bars don't count, I rarely have more than 3 of them in a year. I'm not a huge fan of ice cream, unless it's homemade. I do not like sweets. The Cinnabon shops made me crazy, my 96+ Dad, who gives me grief for mystery shopping on a regular basis; asks why he doesn't get the rolls anymore.
That said there is a privately owned chocolate shop in Brussels that I could sit in there and eat chocolate all day long. No I don't remember the name or how to tell you how to get there. It's maybe a mile or more of walking off Grand Place. Pronounce Godiva the way we do it to a local and they will tell you how to get there, if you're lucky enough to visit Brussels.
I have done chocolate/candy shops. I come up with it's too sweet, grainy or slimy on my tongue. This will prompt the sales person to tempt you with different treats. Shows sales potential, willing to over come objections or dedication to their commission/hourly raise bump.
I cannot give you constructive advice for Lindt. All I know about Lindt is what my father and SIL give me for Christmas and/or my birthday. I guarantee they bought the chocolate on clearance. They are extremely aware that if I never had a piece of chocolate for the rest of my life, I wouldn't fret about it.
Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning; the devil shudders...And yells OH #%*+! SHE'S AWAKE!
