Quiet today

Seems like no one has been posting. Are you all out shopping? What did you do today?
Does anyone have the "throw a child a science themed birthday party" or is it just here? They have 70 openings for these to be done by tomorrow for 5 to 12 year old children with birthdays right now? How specific can you be? Hardly anyone is going to meet that requirement and why 70 of them? It is a mystery to me. I have to laugh every time I read the first part quickly, "throw a child." And how was your day?

Actually it has been a very busy day catching up with life :^) No shops today but tomorrow is more than hectic so I need to get my parts and parcels ready.
I've been right down with some horrible bug that's lasted over a week now. I did a shop not too long ago at a car dealership and managed to throw up in the brand new truck I was test driving. On top of that my mother in law has been hospitalized and I'm orchestrating some nursing home care for her and attempting to get some canning done here besides. Did I mention that I had to coordinate a conference that is to be held in two weeks only to find out that the letters to my delegates didn't go out yet and I had to get that done too?

In the meantime, I'm retiring to my burrow where I'll sip merlot and have some tapioca.

I'm still on my shop in Hawaii. It's too nice to spend my time online this week. Will return when I'm back in smog filled LA next week....
Ooh, Cettie, I'm sorry. Yuk. Steve, yeah, you get off this computer right now. If I were in Hawaii, oh what a dream, it is so lovely there. Flash, good luck tomorrow with shopping. I will be working my regular job and doing a dinner shop.

Am "recovering" from a long road trip and prepping for tomorrow's new home video. Just a grocery store and a bus station yesterday. (Nice bonuses.)

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Steve, you're giving me shop-envy!

Cettie, hope you're feeling better soon. The salesman must have freaked when you threw up in the new truck! How'd that report go? Has it gone from gross to funny yet?

I've had 2 days off in a row and couldn't be happier. For 16 days straight, I counted cars at an incredible rate of $160-$225 for 2 hours of work + driving. I sure wish I could find that kind of work every month!

Now, the house is clean, the last of my tomatoes have been picked from the garden, pesto has been made with the tons of basil I grew and life is good! It's pouring rain in Montreal so I feel justified in playing computer games, vegging and maybe baking something amazing if inspiration strikes.

Tomorrow, major day in front of the computer to hunt down work.
I hear you MtlShopper! One great month does not share the glow to the next month. August was fantastic and I was a little lackadaisical when it came to setting up September so September was okay--I met my goals--but not spectacular. I'm pushing for October and already 75% scheduled toward my goal. Now what is left is to take it over the top and hopefully to spectacular.
Pretty busy at the end of the month. A few good bonuses from places needing to complete shops by 09/30.
Yesterday was kind of quiet for me. I had two shops scheduled today. While on the road, I got a call to do a last minute bonus call not too far from where I was. Nice!
