You very much could. My state is rated about #3 in gun ownership. Everyone owns dozens and they use them...not on people 99% of the time, but still. If I got to a place and felt any more uncomfortable that I did I would have walked away and cancelled. Luckily I didn't have to. Can't disagree with any of this. However, the letter I delivered was not anything legal and didn't involve legal action.

The paper you taped to their door was clearly some precursor legal step the bank had to make in the pre-foreclosure process.
