Longhorn Steakhouse Shops

Haven't seen these shops before but it appeared on my job board. Must order alcoholic beverage and $100 reimbursement. Has anyone done these shops before? I can't see the questionnaire and am hesitant to assign becuase this MSC can have lengthy reviews.

My last Longhorn assignment was in 2007, with a fee of $10 and a reimbursement of $30. I was given 7 days to complete the job for an MSC that is no longer in business. The report took approx. 30 mins. to complete. Considering your stated reimbursement of $100, my experience tells me the work is now quite a bit more extensive or is a ploy. In the past, occasionally an MSC would quote an artificially high reimbursement that, given the menu of the eatery and any restrictions, would be difficult to meet; that could entice a shopper to apply.
The work is now quite a bit more extensive and is not a ploy, but the reimbursement is considerably more generous than that of some dining shops. It's with an MSC that has shops that reimburse less and still require a lot of work. If this shop had been closer to my house, I would have done it. I like their steaks every bit as much as I do Texas Roadhouse and would not have minded the extra writing to have a fully covered dinner reimbursement.
I did it in April and did not think it was extensive at all. Had a nice time out with a friend.

As I recall, I could view the location guidelines before I accepted the shop.

I haven't done a Longhorn in years. I used to shop the one right around the corner from my house - the MSC that went out of business. I'll keep my eye out. That is a nice dinner for $100.
It's only more extensive compared to the previous MSC, IMO. But worth it!

I never did it with the previous MSC. And since the report only dealt with the alcoholic beverages, I was wondering if they were a regular, ongoing shop or was it something special.

I like LongHorn. I am signed up with all MSC however I have not seen it. I guess they are not shopped in my area sad smiley

Is it like the TRH where all of them are shopped or just certain areas of the country?
I am signed up to do one of these at the end of next month. I'm assuming the report will be similar to this MSC's other reports: somewhat long and redundant, but not really difficult. It is a generous reimbursement.
I know you are not allow to name the MS company but is it a Sassie company. If you are not allowed to say then I understand
The MSC actually posted the job to the job board here a couple of months ago...but they didn't specifically say "Longhorn."

I went $3 or $4 over (can't remember) but that was because we ordered spaghetti squash as a side, which is a premium side. Boy was that good.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

We are not allowed to name the client and the msc in the same thread. Keep signing up with more companies.
