Urgent Emails and Timing

Has anyone experienced losing out to accepting an urgent shop for an MSC. Two schedulers from Albatross emailed me yesterday about urgent shops needing to be done that day. The first scheduler I replied to the next minute and was able to be assigned a few minutes later. The second scheduler I replied to two minutes later and unsuccessfully was too late. So upon seeing an email this morning from the second scheduler again about a shop in the same area I will be in today, I replied as swift as possible within 45 seconds actually. Somehow I still missed it with this scheduler. When I look back at my past emails with Albatross emails, the last assignment I had with Albatross I replied within 30 minutes and was assigned that shop.

It seems only with this one particular scheduler do I seem to miss out in assignments even when I reply immediately. Has anyone else experienced this with Albatross or other MSCs, regarding urgent shops?

If they are sending out bulk emails, the server sends them out in batches. For the ones where you reply immediately, and the shop is already taken, you probably weren't lucky enough to be in the in first batch. We don't have control over who is in what batch, the server does it automatically. sad smiley

That is why I prefer texts to e-mail. I see the text quicker and can reply immediately.
