Rain Check on oil changes/car washes

There is no need to stress out over something you have no control over. If the editors choose to be unreasonable than it's really their problem.
Irene, you should have simply reported that you got the car washed but they did a poor job of drying it off. 
That's an-ongoing problem here in Texas where in some seasons the weather changes every 10 minutes. I am always afraid it will be actively raining and I won't be able to get the car washed. Since the car washes here offer another free wash if it rains within 48 hours, I usually go ahead and get the wash. But what if it were actively raining?

The receipt was stamped "rain check", so couldn't say I did it, beside, lying really bothers me. I'm not a goody goody, just don't like to lie. In L.A. where it seldom rains, car washes just close down till threat is over, this one took 4 days. They have blowers here that dry your car, is Texas different...lol. I will get paid, just got that d___ 6 and won't get any jobs. oh well, it all can't be good.

An interesting comment. I am aware of one car wash shop in my area. This MSP allows you to change the shop date on your own on the website. I have done this shop and changed the date because of bad weather with no problem.
Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
In my part of Texas, they have people with towels that dry your car.
They accepted report without car wash....above post, the entire car wash was closed, so, no "people" to dry car, hope your kidding.

that's been my experience; when it's raining, the MSPs don't want you to attempt to get a wash but they want the feedback on another day when it's dry

I was not rained out, I was 'over-heated'. There was a heat index of 112 for the week. The car wash was by the mall, so getting in there was a joke. Then the company gave me a bunch of 'lip' about the color of the awning. I sent them a photo of the place and they still insisted I was wrong about the color of the awning. I offered to tell the management to repaint and the company hushed. I live in the boonies so only work about 40 hours a month. I will not miss that company.
