Thinking twice about doing some shops.

I'm now rethinking some of my shops. There are some shops in my area, that I know not many people live in that area or there are no other businesses in that area. I have one gas station shop I always jump to take at the first offering. I thought about it. The gas station is a self service, no store or attendant, no restroom. It's just two islands of pumps. No houses in the area, just businesses. I'm sure there are very few shoppers who would bother with this. I will wait and see if they offer more.

I now look at the areas of a shop and think what are the odds of the MSC getting someone to do that shop? How long does this shop stay posted. There are several pizza shops I've noticed that stay posted for over a week. I'll stop jumping at the first offering and will wait until they double the fee. Which they seem to always do.

It's not just about how difficult the shop is, but what are the odds of them getting someone to take that shop, in that area.

While you're waiting & deciding if you want to make the drive, you can also keep your eyes open for shops that are on the way, or not too far out of they way. This way you can make the trek more worth your while. As you get a few cheapie shops under your belt, you should notice that nicer jobs start appearing.

John could also shop in my city for the same reason.

John isn’t far from Ontario. That’s why I suggested it.
I do plan my shops before going out. My problem is sticking to my route. The last two times I did this, I strayed from my route and everything took a lot longer. I won't do that again. I've been doing this for 3 years now. I've done auto shops but the fees never seem to go up. I'm not jumping at the cheaper shops anymore.
