On line surveys

I have been doing these on line surveys with My Survey & Carol Adams. Just wondering if anyone else has done this. They have alot of prizes, but just wondering if there is a catch. I am only less than 300 points from picking my prize, which is going to be a electronic $20.00 payment sent to my pay account.Hope I'm not being taken for a ride.

Charlene, I have been doing surveys for them awhile. It takes 1100 points for $10 Paypal. I think it used to be a 1000 points for $10. But they do pay. You won't get rich, but it will come. You can also get a check if you want. Also Toluna pays if you qualify. I don't qualify for a whole lot of them. Guess I am too old.

The better known survey companies do tend to pay as promised. A real question for you to ponder is how many hours of your life did it take to get to $20?
Might interest me though at times when I can't get out to do shops. I can nearly always sit in bed with my netbook and feet elevated. Beats having nothing to do but stare at the walls. lol

Do you get paid for the individual surveys too? Or do you just get points.
Mostly you just get points. Except for Pinecone Research. You get $3 and entry into a sweepstakes. It's harder to get into. They usually have banners on the internet when they take new people. I signed up 2 or 3 times before I got in this time.

It takes 2000 points for $20.00 now. Yes, I believe you are correct about 1100 for $10.00. I have not seen where you can get a check tho, just the electronic cash put into pay pal. Yea, I know you wont get rich, but they gave me alot of extra points for qualifing, that is why I am waiting for those 300 points.
It took about 10/12 surveys to do, but when I qualified to continue on with the survey I was given 600 points one time an 300 another 75 and couple of 5's etc.. for not qualifing. Some surveys took less than 1 minute and others not more than 25 minutes, but those were for the big points. Now that I know they pay I wish I would have done all that were sent to me from My Survey Carol Adams. And I guess the best part is just check marks and some times, why you like a product, "Cuz it taste good." no editors. I'm going to check out this Pinecone Research. My survey/carol adams also puts you into a sweepes also when you do one. Can't win if you don't enter.Another place I go every day is GSN.com. They have bingo every day where you have 3 cards to play with. The game is called bingo blitz. I play three on my computer and my husband plays 3 on my sons lap. There is a whole lot more to do one this site, plus playing real bingo with other players for real money. They are very legit. Check it out. Even if you do not have the time, like me having the time to play all the games, and get points, at least play bingo blitz. NO, I have not won YET, but we play the same numbers everyday, so hope one day we will scream out BINGO in our home. Tonight the jackpot is $25,000.00/$26,000.00. Forgot, been to busy today, but got my numbers in on time. They are Eastern time, so they have to be in before 5:00 pm their time. Thanks MawMaw for the info, I'll check out Toluna also.
I don't qualify for a lot of the Toluna surveys. With this one it takes 60,000 points to get $20. They would add up fast if you qualify. This old grandma doesn't qualify for much.lol But I just keep plugging along.

When you qualify with MySuvey for a longer survey always take it. I did one the other day about my cable, internet, and phone. I can't remember how many point I got...several hundred. The had me send in my bills and I got 700 more points for that.

My husband would probably like the bingo, but he doesn't get on the computer much.

Yea, but it only takes a couple of minutes to put your numbers in for the bingo. I just checked out My Survey. It is 1100 points for 10.00, 1650 for 15.00 and 2200 for 20.00. Also it takes about 2 weeks for the money to be sent to pay pal. I have never been asked to send in anything from MYSURVEY, was there any personal info they wanted to see?, because that would scare me away.A name and and amount of bill, o.k., but account numbers. UMMMM, I don't know. Let me know. Thanks so much mawmaw!!
No, it was just the cable, internet, and phone bill. If the phone number wasn't on the bill you had to write it in. Mine is all on one bill. No, there wasn't any personal info. That is the second time I did this since I have been taking their surveys. It's called a communication survey.
If you are considering SurveySpot, move on along. It can be very time consuming to earn a small amount of money. And they do not respond to emails.
I've participated in some, but haven't responded to any requests for quite a while. I find them way too time consuming for the small payoff. If you're looking for a way to earn points towards redeemable merchandise, I recommend checking out MyPoints and Swagbucks. I haven't cashed in on MyPoints yet (waiting to hit a certain mark), but I've received over $130 in Amazon credit from Swagbucks in under a year. MyPoints is very easy because it's email based, but with Swagbucks, you do have to be more diligent (ie; be on the lookout for codes, etc.).

Yes, Swagbucks is good. I earn a few bucks evey day by searching and the daily polls. I haven't done the codes. I have earned over 4,000 bucks in a few months.
I did Mypoints in it past.

There isn't as much Mystery shopping in this rural area...maybe a couple of days a week, so the surveys an things like Swagbucks help out.

Try the surveys. For both of these, it really helps increase the point balance pretty rapidly.

I visit SB first thing in the morning to start my day with 3 points. I take the daily poll, visit the survey page and refresh the the toolbar I installed.
This morning they have the $5 Paypal for 550 Swagbucks instead of 700. Yes, I do those thngs every morning.

I usually redeem for $5 in Amazon credit, but I'm waiting for the Xmas sale, hoping that there will be a good price for the $25 or $50 credit. It's really strange for this redemption, but normally, redeeming a $5 credit 5 times is cheaper than waiting to cash in a $25 one.

Yea, I caught on to that one fast. I think I got about 5 emails from them just today, and probly more as the day goes on.
I have done My Points for years now. That is how I get the gift cards for my grandkids Christmas and birthdays! I have gotten Cards for my self as well (got a photo printer from Sears) I also do Pinecone as well You have to find an offer on other sites to be able to sign up with them. I try to do Value Opinions but hardly ever qualify! I have been getting quite a few from Pinecone & look forward to the check in the mail. Every little bit helps right now.
I do lots of the surveys. Many I do not qualify for especially Toluna. I wait until Dec. 31 to cash in all of them. That way the money comes at about the same time. Once, I received $500 from Survey Spot in their drawing. THat was nice. Now they seem to have more drawings than points. I dont do those.
I do my points just for the clicks. I usually shop through e-bates and get cash back. I stopped doing Toluna and find after I complete the survey, I am told that I do not qualify.
