And that is a very good reason! I've done shops to get a footing as well, and actually haven't done anything yet for the company in question. If/when this comes up again and it's more convenient for me, I might take the plunge as well.
On the other hand, there was a children's clothing shop I wanted (different company). At the time it was first offered, I needed to buy a baby gift. Applied for the shop, which was reimbursement only, and didn't get it. It came up again recently and I was tempted to apply again, even though I currently have no need for a baby gift. Instead of jumping on the "bargain", I took pause, went to the store's website and saw that there is NO way the reimbursement would cover anything worthwhile, it would really just serve to defray the cost of something -- something I did/do NOT need. I was thankful for that moment of sanity! This one would definitely NOT have been a bargain!
