Who's getting a DBA

My Demo job (hired part-time permanent) has now worked in to 3 days a week, instead of one....will be making more $$ working 12 hours per week for them, not driving far and not dealing with all this nosense. Looks like due to this, and low pay, I have accepted going this way instead of staying with companies that ask for more, and continue to pay less. They will lose their good shoppers, when will the MSC's realize we need more money if they ask us to do more. I feel like MSing is becoming a non-profit for shoppers, although I had a good Oct and Nov., Jan has slowed down, so why bother with what they want, what do WE want?

Live consciously....

That's a deep question, Irene. What do we want? We moan and wail about low fees and over the top requirements. We don't want to subject ourselves or pocketbooks, to a criminal background check, or DBA, but believe the MSP should screen better. Yet, then we bristle at testing and other pre-requisites.

What is fair pay for a fast food, retail, grocery, bank, whatever? 30 minutes on site, and 30 in report, should pay what? What requirement to complete a shop is not/acceptable? I don't do integrity or video shops. Nothing wrong with them, plenty of others do them, they're just not my cup of tea.

No easy answers, nor would they be unanimous. Similar, I think to MSPs and clients' questions and answers. Nor would it be dissimilar to other workplace scenarios. We pick and choose, based on business decisions. They do the same. Quality shoppers work with, and are heard by, quality MSPs. Lesser thans, at least on the shopper's side of the fence, are kicked to the curb.
