Candy Stores

I am giving a party and would love to know if there are any candy store shops. I want to use them as favors. Bulk candy would work best but any would work. Does anyone know of companies that shop candy stores?

If there were, you'd unlikely receive a reimbursement to cover any significant portion of goods for a party.
Perhaps look for the ~ $15-17 shops where you have to stash a large item on the lower portion of your shopping cart. Some of those grocery stores have bulk foods in bins.
I did one where I had to purchase bulk candy. The flat fee was $20.
Bulk bins of candy were $16.99/lb

I didn't get anywhere near enough for a party....
I used to do Sees but have not seen them for a while. The reimbursement was $5 for which you could have given your guests about 4 lollipops! Same for Godiva, stopped doing them but have not seen them. Reimb was $8 I think. Only good to get a Halloween or Xmas treat that is leftover at the store in Nov or Jan. If you do not need fancy candy then the grocery suggestion or a whole lot of gas station shops where you get a small candy at each one. If you are in Calif. Shared Insight has a store that sells a nice Belgian choc bar for 99 cents each and I think the reimb is $8-10. Never did that store.
I did a Fannie May shop...the candy is $24 or more a pound (I can't remember exactly how much) and I was only allowed to purchase $18 worth.
How about grocery stores? $9-$12 reimbursement for your groceries, plus a small payment. Don't see why you can't buy candy. I used to get laundry detergent, bottled water, and everyday items all the time.

And as another poster mentioned, lots and lots and LOTS of c-stores and gas stations -- may not pay much, but you can accumulate a lot of candy really, really fast!

Although I freely admit the last gas station I did, you couldn't buy a candy bar for the amount of the reimbursement, LOL!!! Never thought I'd live long enough to see an ordinary Hershey bar cost almost $3.

Candy prices have gone crazy.

My kids ADORE it when I do routes of gas stations... I think I did one route of 75+ stations and the look on their faces when I came home was like Christmas morning, lol...
Ritz cheese/ crackers
Chocolate chip granola bars
Small bags of chips/ popcorn
Candy, gum...
Slim Jim's

All the stuff I refuse to buy at the grocery store.
In my area, there are plenty of dollar store shops. $10-12 will go far, but check the expiration dates (!) Locally, we have Toblerone, Ghirardelli, as well as regular Nestle, Hershey, etc....
There a lots of deals that are relatively affordable if you shop around (without a shop)...

Here's a quick example:

6 lb of gummy bears for $8.82 ($1.47/lb): [www.amazon.com]

If it wasn't such a big health and general concern (not pre-packaged individually), I'd bag those 6 lb up into tiny bags and give those out during Halloween.

Market Approach does them and I do them every single time for that $20 flat fee because I love an excuse to buy gummy bears. You would be better off buying in bulk at a grocery store shop, something I hadn't thought of, but will be a great idea for Halloween, until I read it here. But you get a lot more bang for your buck.
