It is very unfortunate that scam artists are out there are using names of legitimate mystery shopping companies. RetailTrack is one of the victims used by many criminals.
Our company name (RetailTrack Mystery Shopping) is a legitimate company. We put a warning on our website and have many times spoken with upset people who have been targetted by these scammers.
Here are a few tips we provide our mystery shoppers:
1. Never accept a cheque, unless it's for a company that you HAVE spoken, trained and completed assignments for.
2. Mail order/ money order is always a fraud.
3. Never pay to become a mystery shopper.
4. Always check their website or even call their number to confirm.
Rest assure there are many legitimate mystery shopping companies out there and RetailTrack is surely one of them.
