Pending.>>>>Assigned>>>>OOPs :-( :-(

For the past four days I have been waiting for a bonused shop. But it was PENDING. I asked for it on Tuesday, 4/05. Pending, pending day after day. The shaop was due oaday. This morning ir was still Pending at 1000am. I forgot to look further in the day, b/c I became busy.

Now I look. oops, oops, oops.

I was assigned the shop. I can't do it now b/c the facility is closed.

oh well. It was a nicely bonused shop too. :-( :-(

There goes my rating and my bonus.

I emailed the scheduler and informed him of what happened. What esle could I do?

Have this ever happened to any of you in MS-land?.

It is an ongoing problem when schedulers decide to leave shoppers dangling just in case the shopper they assigned the job to flakes or cancels. The only way to avoid the problem is to do a final check before you head out for the day and it if thas not been assigned to you, cancel the request. And if the scheduler/company is so short sighted that they kick your rating for a job THEY assigned too late, shame on THEM. You have a life, you have work to get done, you checked at least once in the preceding 24 hours, you have nothing to apologize about. Contacting them is good and suggesting that you could do it tomorrow but became aware of the assignment too late to do it today would be an appropriate response.
That's one thing about NSS, they assign backups and schedule as soon as you call. Great system and this cannot happen. I have a shop now that's "pending" and I just wonder how to try and fit it into my run, why do they do that. I say if it's not assigned, it's not your problem.

Live consciously....
My 7 to 5 keeps me off the computer for non work related stuff.

I totally forgot to check back in,. By the time I got home I was glad to be there. Then a light bulb went off in my head. (It wasn't one of those more light less energy ones either smiling smiley

Well I'll see what they say or do tomorrow b/c the shop is on the site. but the due date is different.
I decided to report the shop in the NO mode. You know the mode that says "ALL NO ansswers must have a comment/paragaph ezxplaination.

I explained the busieness was closed b/c I went after hours.

Let's see if they let me reschedule (With the bonus inclded.)
I try not to do that unless I am going during the hours that the location was SUPPOSED to be open. Reasoning is that they will not be able to use the shop and from what I understand, there is a fee charged the company by SASSIE and Prophet for every report finished and filed. The 'No' report when the shop was not performed during the hours they suggest does nobody any good.
I know what You' re saying, but......

I am glad this isn't a SASSIE or PRoPHET company. Doesn't the editor get the report b4 it is submitted to the company? I did a state search for thes particluar shop by this company. There are approxiameately 300 shops of this kind all due the same day. They don't seem to want to agree to file one "screw-up', if it going to cost them money.

They let me re-schedule (with bonus).
Most excellent!

Yes, an editor will see the job before it goes to the client, if that is what you are asking. If it is being handled by an independent scheduler they may or may not edit it before it goes to the company, depending on their contract.
What really drives me totally crazy is when I apply for a shop and do not hear anything. I then come home and the assignment has been assigned to me for that same day. I see other people have the same problem.
KB: That's what happened. Except I did not know until after the business was closed for the day. Luckily I was able to re-schedule. Hope you can do the same.:-)
