Since you have mentioned the Client (Papa John's), we cannot tell you the name of any MSC that is shopping this Client. It would be a violation of Forum rules, and possibly of our ICA that we sign.

Are they still shopped? I think the last one i did for them was in 2019 or maybe 2018
Several MSC did them but they disappeared long time before COVID. At that time CEO of Papa quit under pressure and likely they shawl the entire executive team.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009

I did one last year, but I haven't seen one in awhile.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I used to do them as well. I remember the pictures from topside and upside down. I haven't seen one in several years. We need some clue if people have seen/done these recently. Sassie, Shopmtetrics, Prophet, proprietary software (like Market Force/2nd to none), etc.

I guess the first thing is to get more responses like BirdyC and try to see if there is a national program doing these or if it's just local (particular franchisee)

I do remember now that when they rolled out a couple of new products (Shaqaroni and Papadia), they did use a SASSIE company to do this. I just wish I was more intelligent and could remember who it was.

It was a Sassie company that also shops Texas Roadhouse (at least it was in the Chicago area) and it was just a few random shops. That i can remember.
I don't remember the MSC or the platform, but I'll check my records. I think it was Sassie.

I looked up my Papa John's shop. It was done last August, and the company is on the Sassie platform. I never used to do these before, but the reimbursement on this was good, so I tried it. The pizza was so much better than what we used to get from them, and I'd hoped to do another one. Unfortunately, I haven't seen one recently.

I've seen them recently by a big Sassie MSC discussed on here all the time. The one that does a lot of oil change shops and sandwich shops with no pay. They are franchise specific and they require ordering usually a new limited time offering item.
Yes, I have seen them on HUGE sassie MSC when there is a new product Papa Johns is pushing. But it's like a 1 or 2x thing. Then they are gone again. They also do this with a large WEST coast TACO chain. New product comes out and they shop lunch and dinner for it. Usually 2 rounds. One is lunch. The other is dinner. Then it goes away for another year until a NEW product is released and tested in MSC program.
my son and I did a couple Papa Johns shops on one of the quick pay apps, not really sure which one, a year or so ago, but nothing has changed, the pay doesn't even cover the cost of the pizza. So we only did one each and quit.
