VISA Contactless Shop at a Casual Dining Restaurants - Anyone Done These

Anyone done the Visa Contactless jobs at a casual dining establishment? Are they worth it?

I have done the Visa Contactless shops in the past at grocery stores or fast food locations where I am always in possession of the card. The $5 reimbursement has kept me from doing more. I have seen Chili's and Applebee's pop up in the past. The guidelines indicate that for dining shops you must access the interior of the location: curbside, drive thru, seated bar, or take-outs are not allowed AND If shopping a sit-down restaurant with table service, you will upload one photo of the location lobby/entryway including any signage with payment logos and contactless symbols and one photo of the receipt instead of the usual terminal shots.

I suppose they are not familiar with inflation. What would one order at Chili's so that I am not going into my pocket to cover the shop? I guess I could order a soda drink so that I have enough to cover tax and tip and stay just at the reimbursement.

I haven't been to an Applebee's or Chili's in a long time. Do they still have happy hour prices on appetizers? Otherwise a soft drink or iced tea would be the way to go.

I've done several of these. The one that did have a surcharge I just got a drink to go.
