Amazon Fresh Grocery Delivery

I've never used this service but am thinking of doing a shop. Question: Do they only deliver to residence? I don't live in their delivery area. I'm wondering -- if I put an address in for say - a strip mall within their delivery area - would they just come to the parking lot, I wave at them - and they just plop the stuff in my car or give it to me? Thanks

I am sorry you haven't received advise yet on this subject. I cannot help because I haven't even seen the Amazon Fresh delivery jobs yet. I am hoping if someone can help, they will chime in.

Same here, I live far out of their delivery area, so even if I saw the shops I wouldn't be able to help.

I do Amazon delivery shops to my house. I'm guessing you could have them deliver to a mall, but I have never tried that.

I think part of the issue is you're supposed to take the temperature of the items in certain time frames. I don't really think that could work with you getting the stuff at a mall, etc.

I haven't done this variation of a job but I think you're supposed to let the groceries sit (outside?) for up to two hours. That would not be possible at a random mall, etc.

if it is the project I am thinking of it is a year long project and they need you to be in the zip code to assign it as you have to wait until the end of the delivery window and take temperatures. If it is the alcohol dlivery shops with another company-- I don't know

And this is the project I'm trying to get my hands on! I filled at the end of 2022 to help the MSC finish and hoped I'd be offered the job for 2023 but no go and he ghosted me on my email asking how to get involved.

In my area there were a few openings in December for the 2023 year. I was able to grab one as I chose a pick up location that is a small store and probably not the favorite one to shop at. They have limited stock compared to the other local stores. At this point you would probably have to wait for someone to either drop out of the program leaving an opening or get assigned as a back up shopper.
I did the delivery one a few times last year. There is a two hour delivery window and they often arrived well before the window. So you might have to sit in the park for over 2 hours waiting for your delivery to arrive.
