Red Bull Resets

Good Evening,

Wanted to see if anyone has done the Red Bull shelf reset project. You have to show up at a certain time and help Pepsi reset that particular product. Not sure if it is location specific but I am in the Mountain West.

Is it through a Mystery Shopping company, or a merchandiser (no, don't give the name).
I've seen these but haven't done them - the locations by me are about an hour away, which actually takes me from CST to EST (I'd have to account for switching time zones) and these look like they would be way more time consuming than worth it at base pay, since you're supposed to wait for others to show and it might take 1-2 hours.
I happened to be merchandising something else when one of these was taking place. They were finishing up and the manager didn't like the shelf heights so he made them empty the cooler and fix it. I never tried one after seeing that.

I have done 5. What do you want to know?
Just wanted to see about how long they were actually taking and did your team show up on time?
I've done a few resets recently. They take about an hour each. They are pretty easy, you follow the planogram they give you. Most of the time other resets are taking place at the same time so there are many people there. In some cases you have to relocate a shelf, but the other resetters who are there will help you lift the shelf out and move it, rather then take out all the Red Bulls and move it yourself.
The one draw back is that when you get them, most times they will assign you a second store right after. You have to wait until the Coke team is done with their resets before you can go to the other store. The Coke resets take up to three hours so you wait around. One team lead gave me the planogram for the next store so I could go do it, but another one did not and i waited a while. I like them, and hope to do more when come out again.

Are they talking about placing RED BULL product into those little refrigerators I see at Dollar General and the like?

No, all of my locations were resetting 8 shelves which were 1 door of the bank of doors in a convenience store.
How physically demanding were they? What was the average time spend doing the job. Do you like the job?
I did like 8 of them maybe? Most of the time a Red Bull rep was there and I was there to assist. A few times the resets were cancelled or rescheduled so I got half pay just for driving there and taking a couple pics of the Red Bull display. It’s a lot of taking cans off the shelf and moving them to another shelf. Sometimes the shelves have to be moved, which is some pretty heavy lifting, but it has always been someone else that has moved them (I’m female, if that matters.). It is pretty easy money, I wish there were more of them. Sometimes other crucial members of the reset team are not there on time, so you are kinda stuck waiting around for a bit before you can start. They usually also had me add the new price stickers on, and I don’t know if that is technically “my job” but I have just been doing it anyway. The longest it has taken me was three hours because I had to wait over an hour for the the project managers to get there to start.
Also, I would say it is more of a merchandiser site. I have done a few things with this company and it has never been a “mystery shop” where they didn’t know I was coming. It has always been going somewhere and replacing marketing stuff
