iFLY!

Recently had one of my more interesting shops - at iFLY indoor skydiving. No payment, but the MSC provided a gift certificate code to make the reservation, so nothing out of pocket either. I know some people won't do any shop that doesn't pay you a fee, but this was a blast and it was $200+ I would have never spent of my own money to try. I got to bring a guest along, the package also included photo and video purchase, and the place is less than a 10 minute drive from my house. The report was pretty easy, and it required pictures but this is the kind of place where everyone is taking pictures and videos anyway so didn't even need to be sneaky about it.

Really fun experience that I wouldn't have had if not for getting involved in mystery shopping!

I like this shop too! Mine didn't include photos or videos though. Did you purchase a special bundle with your code?
To me, one of the most enjoyable aspects of ms’ing has been being introduced to new-to-me locations and experiences. Sounds like you found such, hokiezz!
That is awesome. I agree, not something I would spend my money on so what a great opportunity to try something new. Haven't seen too many adultish things near me, mostly all for kids.
This was on my board several weeks ago. The closest one to me is about 30 miles away, so maybe if I can do a little route. My brother did this (not a shop) last year and he said it was fun, but he's not running back to go again.
I think I would like to try this. I've seen it, but was a little scared...I might bite the bullet

Be aware of the consequences of this shop. I took my then college age son on one of these shops years ago. He absolutely loved it. However, due to the shop he decided to take up real skydiving so for the two or three years he was doing it among news reports at the time of several fatal sky dive accidents. I was worried sick every time he did one. Thankfully he moved on to other things.

Pass. No fee. No work. Period.

To each their own! For me, this one barely registered as work!

any hint on the MSC? Should I assumed it's AA?

Someone in later comments has given a hint.

This is from the guidelines for my shop: Each electronic gift card code will cover 2 flyers, one 2-Flight Package per flyer, 1 photo per flyer, and 1 video per flyer.

And sure it enough, it covered it all for a grand total of about $230.
I did this on Mother's Day in 2010 or 2011. It was really fun. You need to be a normal weight in order to fly though.
I did one recently. I was a little apprehensive about it but it was really fun. I ended up paying the surcharge for the high flight. I know there are shoppers who will not do something for no pay but I'm in the camp where I do shopping for work as well as to subsidize lifestyle so it works for me. There is NO way I would have ever paid out of pocket to do this so I'm appreciative to have had the opportunity. Now to find a go cart shop...
