I see one posted for a bonus. It says can take up to 60 minutes and photos required. Is it worth it for $20 or should I pass? I Know the MSC will not let me see report form before assigning. Thanks for any advice
The first time it took me about 45 minutes to an hour to complete, I don't remember exactly. I've done enough of these that I can do them in under 15 minutes. But I don't take them for less than $50. Their data entry methods are slow and cumbersome. It takes way too long to enter the report.
Same here. And try to go at a time that the store has no customers. That will extend the time to do the questions.
Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

There is indeed a lot to print. If there are no customers, I have done them in 20 minutes. The longest I spent was 60 minutes. I generally do them for $30 but of course that depends on distance, driving time, and other route shops.

With the printing and the scheduling and all of the extra effort involved in having to inspect all the phones and all the tablets and all the computer systems for software they're not supposed to have. For the local ones I mean in my local shopping area, I will do them for $50. If there's additional driving involved, and in remote locations I won't go out for less than $80, and I always start my bidding at $100. And the locations that I have done for $100 previously I won't do for less than that again.
I never print it out. I have my own form I use on my phone that is fast and gets me all I need.
In the past, they had two different types of reports, depending on the type of store it was. If you PM me I'll send you a copy of the reports from last time.
Steve, yep. I print out the entire thing once. And the signature page for each shop. And then I answer the questions directly in the shop, while I'm doing it.
I actually print one copy and then use it over and over. I use different color inks, etc. to keep track of responses for each location. Luckily, most of the locations "pass" on each item, so that it is easy to document the differences. I have to, of course, print a signature page for each location.

Are these the same ones that are being offered with a $12 shop fee now? Definitely not worth my time if that's the case. I suppose if you have the process down to a fine art that this fee might suffice, though.

Nope, different shop. The one discussed here involves interaction with the manager and other staff. The $12 one you reference, you do not interact with staff apart from letting them know you are there.
As for the $12 jobs, I did one a few miles from my home. It was worth it. I would not take a solo $12 job that was more than a few miles away from home unless 1) I had personal business to conduct in that general area or 2) I was on a route of shops.
I do the shops discussed in this thread for $50 or better. The exception is one store, which I will only do for $70 or better. This is due to one bad experience. The store is small, which sounds easy, right? Not so. It's located in a busy shopping center and the store is heavily trafficked. There are a total of two people who work there, a manager and one employee. They are never there at the same time. I arrived, and the manager was working with customers. I completed everything I could do on my own, then had to wait an hour and forty-five minutes for the manager to finish with one set of customers (a mom and daughter). I think the guy was slow-playing on purpose, hoping that I would leave. They had a lot of stuff non-compliant. I waited him out though. I paid the price as I missed being able to do my Kroger shop that was in the same shopping center. Going forward, any shop for that location where I have to interact with the staff, it has to pay well and I make it my last job on the route.
