Texas Roadhouse shops

At TR I get, Sirloin steak, medium rare. A baked potato with butter AND sour cream. I get the way too salty green beans, and then I don't eat them, because the only thing I like less than salty green beans is steamed until they are mushy vegetables with no flavor at all. I get a "Cadillac" (I think they still call it that) Peach Margarita with salt on the rim, not sugar. I can't drink alcohol anymore, so if I were to go back for whatever reason I would probably get water or ginger ale.

I get the small sirloin steak with a baked sweet potato loaded with butter, cinnamon and whatever else they put on it. I get a salad as my other side..love their salads!

I usually do Road Kill (cooked rare) with all the toppings. I do a salad and a bowl of chili for the sides.
Tenders and sauce are great. Toast is "meh". cold slaw usually has an odd flavor. Those cheap crinkle fries are the WORST.
The best chicken fried steak/chicken fried chicken is at a Texas-based chain called Cotton Patch, but I digress...

The Texas Roadhouse here in Podunk, TX, is hit or miss. I still go because when it's a hit, it's amazing. Getting it free in exchange for an easy report is even better. I'm not a steak eater, so I can't comment on those. Grilled shrimp on a bed of seasoned rice, green beans, mashed potatoes, and that bread....sweet baby j, the bread...

The only time I've had food poisoning was from eating at (different location) Roadhouse, so there is that.

Fyi - the report for Roadhouse is way shorter (and easier) than the one for Outback.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
The TR's here are awesome and I don't think I've ever had a bad shop. I did one in Texas though that was not TR but some other related place. It looked like they reopened in an old TR building, and it was probably the worst service I've ever had- like managers ignoring us as we sat right in front of them.
any hints on the roadhouse company? One just opened here and I feel like Im basically the only shopper in my town.

Yes the bread lol! I did have a shop once where there was no bread. ????The main reason for going to me is the bread! And the reports are appropriate for the “compensation” of reimbursement only but still I will take it. I think I’m the only one that orders salmon. I get a side salad and loaded sweet potato. Usually can provide at least one or two meals after.
i've never had a complaint THAT WASN"T IMMEDIATELY HANDLED. I have had overcooked or undercooked steaks, but they 'made it right.'
I got chicken critters last time i went. I loved it.
