Aloma,

you're certainly not going to get rich mystery shopping, but some people manage to make a living at it. A lot of it depends on where you live, how many jobs are available in your area, and how many other shoppers there are.

Many shoppers make a few hundred dollars a month, mystery shopping on the weekends.

I know someone that lives in Dallas Texas that makes $600.00 a week. I live in a small town in Oklahoma. I work very hard at it {I'm talking about at least 6 hours a day on the computer, looking} and I only average $400.00 a month. So, it depends on how hard your willing to work at it and how big the town you live in is.
I ditto the answers, you may not get rich, but more companies= more jobs= more money.
700. a week. Who do you mysteryshop for? Even if I work that long, I never seem to come close to making that much.
$700 thats rare and nearly impossible if you make a hundred or so you are lucky or a big or popular city and that must be on hell of a city!!! I could work harder at mine but it would only make a 40 or so differance and thats not enough to sit at my pc all night I do during the day and make about 80 or so a month plus weekly is not possible because most companies pay monthly!!!
I have been mystery shopping since August 06 and right now I make about 800.00 a month but I live in a rural area where mystery shoppers are hard to come by and I have the corner market on the shops that I get. I just hold out on some of the shops that pay 5-7 dollars and by the middle of the month I am getting phone calls from people asking me what I would want to shop these shops and I hold out for 12.00-15.00 dollars apeice and usually I get the shops. I do all the Valero stations and Cenex stations in my area I do 3 different states since I am about 45 minutes curcumfrance at these states. The stations pay me anywhere from 15-20.00 per site. I usually set up enough shops in one day to pay either 100-150.00 per day. So I work hard for the last 2 weeks of the month and sit back the first 2 weeks of the month. You make the mystery shops work for you not you work for them. To me this is a full time business and I work it like it is. If you know how to barter then you will do well with this business. It took me a month or so to find this out. And then I will put in a few demos in the mix and they pay $70.00 a piece and I have 4 already for January. I think this business is great.
