Jackson Hewitt (Walmart) signage audits

I just received a "pre-staffing" email saying that the Jackson Hewitt signage audits at Walmart stores are starting again. Pay is $12 per location.

I never enjoyed doing these, and it must have shown. I never got anything higher than a 9 on any of them.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown

I usually end up doing them toward the end of the cycle for considerably more than $12. That hasn't happened in a while. The pandemic and lockdown changed everything so much.
I didn't get an e-mail about them. I did a few last tax season. The ones I did were inside Walmart. I did the first one for base, then I held out more with the others.

Edit: I got the e-mail today. None of my local stores are on the list, only ones that are 40 miles away. No, thank you.

these are easy gigs. just some photos of the kiosk and a few questions to ask to the person manning it(if anyone is there). you can get in and out very quickly. the problem arises if you arrive and someone is getting their taxes done, you could wait around forever. i still take them at $25, but they won’t pay that early on.
I would use these to fill in holes on my gas station routes.

As others have pointed out, they are super easy, but you may have to wait.

Unfortunately, I'm no longer eligible for the MSC after refusing to do some slipper resets that required 5x the quoted job time for 1x the quoted job pay.

Have synthesizers, will travel...

My plan too but this one is only a week and doubtful they will be bonused. These are for the "Early Refund Advance" not the one for tax season.

Sounds like it is better to go early then...right?

I took the plunge and signed up for one but it’s not at a Way Mart.
I just signed up for 3 in my area. The stores are all only a few miles apart. The pay is $18.
I have done these in years past. I'm in and out quickly. I get to them right after the booth opens, so don't have to wait.
