JINYA Ramen Bar

Just curious if anyone on here does these shops. They start out at $0 pay and $30 reimbursement, which seems reasonable until you check their prices. You have to order a beverage, small plate, and Ramen bowl. The bowls in my area are minimum $17, and drinks are $3.50. They do have a couple of small plates that could maybe get you under $30 if you don't tip, but the only one that's appealing to me is the crispy chicken for $8.50. I'm not sure how they find shoppers, but they always seem to get filled even without increasing the pay.

Its been a while since I did this job, pre pandemic so I cannot answer for now. But at the time when I did do them occasionally it was basically enough for one person to get one of their less expensive bowls. This was okay with me because most of the non fast food food shops around my big city are steak and fish places. Rarely are there shops for Asian food at a regular restaurant. Since my preference is for Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian and other non Steak and Seafood places the only way to get a meal for a report was to do these. I do not consider Panda to be a regular sit down restaurant.
I do these. It's a fairly easy way to get a meal I actually enjoy (vs 5 guys and Panda). I go by myself.
I've done many of these shops, I love them, great food. They are on the expensive side, but the meal is free.
In my area they usually go on a bonus. For one person. I can definitely eat under the reimbursement.
I enjoy completing them because the food is delicious and its less money coming out of my pocket for an easy report and a good meal!
I do these shops regularly. You can order a free water drink and not go over as much. You still get refills and can answer the questions.
