Baby formula project

Ok, so I have not been regularly on this forum in a while, and I did search for any previous threads about this, BUT I am wondering if anyone else has seen the emails from Ipsos regarding a new, 6-week program that is verrrry similar to the ongoing one from Mintel? I'm afraid of what this could mean! Is the client switching to Ipsos or testing them out?

I don't about Mintel, I'm fairly sure I signed up with them at some point, but I don't have any recollection of actually working for them. But I did sign up for this new infant formula thing with Ipsos. I'm stuck at home anyway, the POS Jeep finally died.
Mintel's PO box/baby formula project ended months ago. I don't know about their home/baby formula project. The client is not just testing Ipsos. When I asked an Ipsos scheduler when their home program was new, she said there was no PO box project like Mintel used to have.
Ipsos project much more detailed than Mintel. You sign up then gave to track all emails, texts and home mail for 6 weeks. And you get many texts and emails. A pain in the neck shop for the fee! LOTS of work for the shop fee!. I do not recommend it!

I had the opposite experience. I only got a couple emails, no texts, and no actual mail (or my promised free gift!) it was easy peasy.
I did Mintel and it was very easy. Nothing ever received. Doing the Ipsos one and so far in 10 days 7 texts and 7 emails and still weeks to go. No mail received as of yet. Hope they stop. I had not given my cell number at the start then git 2 emails asking for it so they could text me and text me they do. Lots of work for the fee even if done at home.

I am still doing thr project with Mintel, very easy.
I did the project with ipsos last time and received 2 whole emails. Easy peasy.

I tried to sign up again but could not.
I got some texts and emails, one envelope, and one box. I regifted the box to some very grateful local people, and uploading the info didn't take much time at all, afaic.
Mintel, I've gotten absolutely nada. I submit an invoice and collect my money every month.

Ipsos is an entirely different story. I haven't received anything in the mail, but those folks text me almost every day, and emails come in 2-3 times per week.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown

I was doing the project that did not require a PO box for Mintel, and have been doing it through April.
I checked with Mintel. The home baby formula project has not closed but is not accepting new applicants.
I made a formula file in my work folders. I screen shot every text and put it in the work folder. I made a file for the emails in my email account, and I moved the emails to that. Requires almost zero actual work..

So far I have received a text and an email almost every day.
I'm having an issue uploading emails. I've only gotten about 5, and saved them in PDF form so I could capture the full email. However, when I go to upload, it won't recognize the file format or extension. Did anyone else have this problem? Do they have to be in JPG? I emailed the contact for the program and she replied to just upload the PDFs but as I said... no luck with that.

I'm having the same problem. There are multiple programs out there that will convert .PDF files to .JPG files. Adobe is the logical choice but you have to pay for it.

The other's I just haven't tried to figure out which one is the best yet. Try a Google search for "converting .PDF files to .JPG".

I found one that does the conversion but splits the file into multiple pages. It also has a merge button, but it merges them back as a .PDF file which negates the conversion into .JPG in the first place.
I usually save screenshots in JPEG format. (The app I use saves screenshots as PNGs unless I choose another format and some reports only accept JPEGs.)

Easy fix: Go back to the 5 emails and save them as jpegs.

That's not an option in Outlook Windows Access (OWA). You can send it as an Microsoft XPS Document Writer or a printer.
Have you tried using third-party screenshot apps? That's how I save order confirmations in JPG format for my Panda Express online shops.

If you are on a laptop or desktop, you hit shift, windows button and s at the same time for a screen shot, it will give you a little cursor and then you select what you want to clip. You can then paste into word. Right click on the image and save as jpeg.

Or you can install awesome screen shot which is a chrome add on and it also saves screen shots as jpeg.

Hope that is useful

I am happy to say that, after I posted this topic, I received an email from Jenna with my assignment for May. I was afraid that the message from Ipsos meant it wouldn't be with Mintel anymore. I really would be unhappy if that happened! But I am still on the project with Mintel - whew!

Thanks everyone. I figured a PDF would be more complete and show the whole email but I think I'm just going to do a screenshot of whatever I can fit using the "snipping tool." IF they want more I will still have the PDFs as backup.
I am happy for you. I miss my PO box routes, It wasn't just the steady income. Those routes also meant it was feasible for me to pick up other shops (Kroger, for example). I think I may stop shopping Kroger altogether now that my PO box routes are gone.
