Issue with my new Samsung S24 Ultra

I've been doing gas station audits. I have no problem taking pictures around the station, EXCEPT for taking pictures of the snacks. My new phone will not upload pictures taken of the snacks. Anywhere else the pictures upload, just not on the snacks. Any idea why?

Did you clear your "cookies?" Maybe the micro "chip" is faulty.

Sorry, just had to.
Snacks are a well-known issue with these phones.
you know AI does need snack time to refill energy right?
The snacks are not the cause of your problem. Location is your problem. Many c-stores are not conducive to uploading photos from inside the stores. Snap the photo, and then go outside and upload it.

It uploaded every other photo from within the store. I tried moving to another side. Still would not upload. I even tried outside, still would not upload. I did notice for the main sign, it would only upload if the main sign.filled the screen.

Check how many bars you have with your cell provider from inside the store and outside. AZ Wolfman stated what I thought when I saw your first post.

Or maybe even the Bixby AI knows that John is actively dodging income tax from IRS and don't want to be part of it.
I have afew more gas station shops, see what happens. This has happened on the last two gas station shops, since I got the new phone.
Your file too large?

It shouldn't be. Every other picture loaded. Only the pictures from the snack...in two shops would not load. I had to wait until I got home to upload them from my computer.
tisk, tisk...John should have purchased a Pixel smartphone. Maybe you should trade that Samsung in for a Pixel 8 that is available now for pre-order? smiling smiley

The first thing I do when I get a new Samsung phone is disable Bixby.
Maybe contact your wireless provider for technical support.
I'm still trying to figure out what Bixby is and does...seems a waste to me

bIxby is basicallly the samsung aka inferior version of Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, or Microsoft Cortana...a "virtual assistance", no one likes it when Samsung introduce it, and they try to force it onto people by giving it a dedicated physical button just to activate Bixby...and you cannot deactivate or change the function of that button.

Yes, you can change your phone so that the "Bixby" button does something else of your choosing instead of opening Bixby. However, you will have to change it again aftery every phone update sad smiley I do not remember exactly where I found the instructions to reassign the Bixby button, but I found it via a Google search.

You can also disable Bixby. Settings>Apps>Bixby Voice

Whenever I want the help of an assistant, I just say, "Hey Google." The Google lady is unobtrusive, helpful, and can be just as lighthearted as you want her to be. I've even had conversations with her while on a long desert route.

Search instead for hange your phone so that the "Bixby" button does something else of your choosing
Go to Settings-Advanced Features- Bixby Key and change single Press to Double Press for Bixby. You can use a single press to open another app or Run quick command such as Answer Phone or Daily Routine.Dec 19, 2022

People also ask
Can I make the Bixby button do something else?
How do I change the Bixby button function?
Change Bixby Key Settings (Android 9. x or newer)

From the Bixby screen, navigate: ...
Bixby Key.
Select 'Single press' or 'Double press' to open Bixby. ...
If preferred, select an app or run a quick command when pressing the Bixby button by tapping the switch to the right of either option to turn on .
Yes, you can do it now, with the newest phone, but when it first came out, with like Galaxy S8, you can literally do nothing with the bixby button at all, and it made so many people mad back then lol
Thanks, I use Google all the time..Works for me..Never used Bixby and probably never will

This is exactly what I am going to do in the next month or so. My Samsung S21 has given me so many headaches regarding issues with uploading pics and location services. We have a Tesla and half the time it doesn't register my phone as the key to drive. My husband has a Pixel and has had no issues.

Well , well, well. Turns out I experienced the exact same problem with the app but my phone is not a fancy new one. Just that one picture of the interior would not upload on every single one of many shops. It was easily remedied by using the web browser for that one pic. It uploaded seamlessly on the browser. Extra steps for the shopper but, whatever. Strange. That question must be broken.
I have had the same issue with my galaxy s21. I lowered the size of the pics and they uploaded except for one question. It jusr refuses to upload a pic for it and i have to explain in the comments section the issue.
Love my Google Pixel 7 and my years old Lenovo laptop.
