Dave's Hot Chicken?

Did that stop getting shopped? Or did it change companies? I know it used to be with the same MSC as 5g and Raising Canes. I have not seen it the past couple of months or did I just miss the postings? Maybe they stopped their program. Anyone have any info?

Changed companies several months ago. They're now shopped by the MSC that has Texas Roadhouse.
Tigerdave, have you done one yet? Does the report now require more narrative and did they up the reimbursement or add a fee? I did a few with the old MSC but the required purchase was too far over the reimbursement.
In Canada, they now pay both a fee and a reimburesement. The Reimbursement will cover most of the cost of the required combo and drink. I believe the drink is optional. You can get extras but only a meal for one is reimbursed up to a maximum.

Yes 3 or 4 short answer/narratives are required. But they don't need to be any more detailed then the previous mystery shop company narratives/short answers for other clients. And you don't have to ask an assinine question of the cashier. There are a couple of additional photos.

Yes, I've done several. I feel like there's a little more narrative, but it's not bad at all. Just short comment sections on the cashier process, picking up your food, the food itself, the cleanliness/appearance, and then the best part of the visit. The reimbursement is now $20, which was enough for me to order 2 tenders with fries, a drink, and even add a side of mac and cheese. There is a fee as well.
I wonder if this is a franchisee thing. I've never seen my local Dave's on the new MSC (or received an email blast about it).

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
I have yet to see them here with the new company (or with the old company since spring for that matter.) I also suspect this may be a franchise thing, although I can see where these might fly off the board before I get a chance to see them.
I've been wanting to try that.. I love spicy chicken. If I remember right, there aren't any in AL, I would have to go to one of the neighboring states.. Makes no difference right now, it'll have to wait till November, I'm not riding that far in the passenger seat of my son's car with no AC for any amount of money.
@Morledzep...

i thought of the TLC song "No Scrubs" when you posted about being a passenger in your sons car with no AC. I know it's not the same, but for some reason that lyric popped in my head.

No, I don't want no scrub
A scrub is a guy that can't get no love from me
Hangin' out the passenger side of his best friend's ride
Trying to holla at me

song came out in 1999. I doubt it's your type of music though.

look at my name.. Mor(e) Led Zep.. what kind of music do I like best?
yes, I figured that is what it was, but did not want to assume. I knew a guy named Morle so the fact you did not want to put morE made me not want to assume

btw...my music taste goes from classical all the way to death metal. There is some pretty cool symphonic death metal I know very few country songs and there are some I like, but as a genre is something i generally do no listen to. I grew up on (c)rap/hip-hop back in the 80 and early 90s, but don't really bother with it now. Love me CCR/LZ and classic rock from 60s/70s, but i also love disco from the late 70s. Basically i'm pretty wide open with music. I'm not a fan of many of the politics of these people, but talented music/singing is still talent and I can separate the 2.

btw...getting back to the original topic of Dave's Hot Chicken...you really are not missing out. It's okay, but seriously overpriced.

thanks HB, next time I come across a location I'll probably still try it. I almost got to go to NC this weekend (in an air conditioned vehicle), but that's a bust now too. I should just put my energy into getting a vehicle of my own to drive so I'm not subject to the junk mobile with no AC and only 3 windows that roll down.

Sounds to me as if you're much closer to my children's ages than mine. My oldest son is 45 now. The one that lives here with me is 39, or will be next month.
