Yeah, that's what stopped me ... I don't want to burn up my allotment.@MsJudi wrote:
FYI, each one you do will count against your alloted amount for your plan. With the basic plan it only allows 4 calls per year, so if you truly needed the service you could have used up your allotment on shops. Im not sure how many calls are allowed with the better plan but it's more costly so not worth it just to do the shops, or maybe it is..not sure.
I have an old vehicle and need my calls..btw, last week it took me 7 hours to get home after calling AAA for a tow..flatbed couldn't fit in the parking garage...got a free year promised by AAA as compensation after I complained..would have made a good shop.

Apparently I'm going to have to call customer service to get a clearer explanation of what services I can get or will get with which level because it didn't really make sense to me when I read it online. I always had roadside assistance, my mother insisted on it when we were coming up. Bad about 12 years ago I let it lapse because I had a lack of money and dependable cars..

Is a battery jump counted the same as a 100 or 200 mile tow? It seems out of wack somehow.

I am curious how everyone is draining their batteries?

They just connected the jumper cables and told me to start the car. No need to loosen cables or drain the battery.
