Planet fitness

I searched the boards and it seems these may be with a new MSC now. There are several in my area and I took one but I expected the rest to get picked up. They are all still available so now I wonder .. what did I get myself into? They seem like pretty straightforward shops.

*** EDIT. I went back and read more carefully. One shop per person every 90 days because you can only have one day pass every 90 days.

Should I take more or let them sit there? Can I even take more if I have to sign up in the app for a day pass?

I was going to do this one last night but the weather is so cold I just want to hibernate!

I received an email from the same MSC that had them before but the new ones required you to go in workout clothes and pay started pretty high. I didn't read the whole thing but assumed a workout is required. I don't have time to workout while shopping so I deleted it. So I don't think it's with a new company.

I don't think these shops are in my area. I remember pre-COVID, I did a shop where it was a guided tour. I'm not sure if things changed since then, but I might use the day pass if it includes the recovery room. But I remember the gym being a standard/minimal gym.
The last time I did one of those shops, we had to get a day pass, and the full sales tour, and then we had to stay and workout for a certain amount of time.. I think it was a minimum of 20 minutes. I did a few back in CA. And I think I did one or two here after the workout portion had been dropped. But it was too hard to hear the sales pitch, because the music was so loud, and I was doing recordings because the MSC wanted exact quotes, and I knew they wouldn't ask for several weeks.
The one I see on the board now explicitly states that there is no workout component to the shop and that a day pass will not be reimbursed. Nothing is stated about wearing workout clothes. Are there other gym shops on the boards now?
I like club tour shops. Recently did Planet Fitness and it was smooth. They might ask if you want to try a piece of equipment during your tour. That did not happen the two tours I took. The workout clothes are no big deal - shopping is my workout. I always wear sneakers and athletic pants (especially if I’m merchandising).
Ones in NJ require a workout. They are marked as "corporate." Pay starts at $40.

I think these are a different gym wirh a different MSC.
My shop went smooth as well, no issues. Just know the report has to have some detailed narrative. I thought I did ok but they kicked it back to me for more narrative.
Just did a PF phone shop. What a disaster! The person who spoke to me did NOTHING correctly. I had a long list of things to type for negative replies. Bad connection on the phone to boot made hearing them difficult and them having to ask me to repeat everything I said>
