Shoe shop?

How can they expect us to do a shoe shop with no pay? What about our time spent? And the gas to get there?

Yes. Reimbursement. But we still need to spend on gas & time. I just don't think it's fair.

Yeah, more details please? Client or MSC? (not both) You haven't named anyone. Sinclair has a couple of shoe-shop clients and the fees/reimbursement are poor, but not nothing.
I've seen Nordstrom shoe and apparel purchases that were reimbursement only. I got to buy a dress last November that was $150. I thought it was a good deal. The shoe reimb I've seen lately was $70. These shops seem to hit the board and get snagged in moments.

Yes, it is for Nordstrom. Maybe I don't think it's fair because I don't buy anything fancy.
I've done some reimbursement only shops and use them for kids shoes and socks. The store has a rewards program so I've been able to use the rewards for discounts later on. The shops are generally pretty easy so I'm ok with working for the reimbursement, but everyone's situation is different.
