Metro Diner Carry Out Special Request

I have a Metro Diner carry out shop tomorrow and I am to make a special request to see how the restaurant handles it. Examples give were "anchovies on salad," or request an "Arnold Palmer." I would love other suggestions. I would really like to avoid modifying the food in a way that makes it undesirable to eat. *editing to add that the guidelines state that the shopper should make a request that is unusual or not typial for the entree.*

What food are you ordering? That would help. If you are getting salad, you could ask for all toppings on the side. Coffee with a glass of ice cubes. Coffee with milk (not cream). And, your request does not necessarily need to be used. Think soy sauce for French Fries, kethcup for mashed potatoes.
These are great! I haven’t decided yet as far as the order. I will try to maximize the reimbursement and serve for dinner at home.

I am not an avocado fan, but I'm not about to let the restaurant keep it either. Its part of the cost, so anything with avocado or cacamole is on the side. Wifey gets it.

I am not sure why you are asking this question. Is it really that hard to find something to ask for on whatever you are ordering that is different? Well done fries or NO salt/seasoning on fries.
Yes it most likely would.[

How about an Arnold Palmer with no ice? Would that work. Its simple.[/quote]
Love the avocado idea. Thanks for sharing. I’m asking here since this is a mystery shopping board. Why devalue my question? I seriously wanted some unique ideas. The instructions want out of the ordinary. I’m asking since I don’t want to actually compromise the meal. Overdone fries that aren’t edible take away from the meal.

The medley of steamed veggies as a side dish sounds good BUT I don't like my foods to touch each other. May I have each veggie in it's own bowl? And the potatoes also on it's own plate away from the entree?
I never mentioned OVERdone fries. I said WELL done. In N Out fries taste much better well done. Some places don't need to be well done, but some do.
Where I live, I have never heard of that term and well done fries will translate to over done. Thank you again for the tip!

It's like well done pizza. If you get a pizza from Costco, to me it's not cooked long enough. It's tolerable the way it comes out, but it's better if you ask for well done and they push it back for another couple minutes.

Try it and you'll see the difference.

I like Wing Stop fries, but sometimes they are limp. I prefer them crispier so I will ask for well done on those too.

I will have to try! In 50 years, I have never heard of this!

Texas Roadhouse fries are also better well done.

@JimmyP

I haven't tried that. I get the salad (required or not) and usually the chili. I might have to try the fries well done
