PV500

I do not see what object based operating systems and music synthesizers have to do with restricting the file sizes...

It's really quite simple.

As I attempted to explain previously, there are size limits to the objects in an object-based OS, regardless of the nature of the hardware involved.

In the case of the PV-500, each video file is an object, with an object size limitation of just under 1GB.

I realize that, but the PV-500 used to allow 19 minutes (approx. 1G); Now they only allow 10 minutes, which is not as convenient for us.

Maybe the cause of this is that the newer PV-500 units come ser at 1080p resolution. Have any of you tried changing the resolution to 720 pixels? If so did the recorder then allow 19-minute file segments?

I do own it. I bought one of those belts and thought it would help but didn't get to use it because my dog chewed it apart for some reason. Do they really help with the heat?

Any shop I have since using it was Dino29's fault. One of the best investments I made for my video shopping.
Just curious... are there other companies doing covert video shops other than Grace Hill and EPMS?

Now that I have my own I'd like to maximize the investment.
