Ehhh...McDonald's beverage shop

I avoided these shops, or ones similar last year, but noticed that third party apps were an option and figured i would get my teen a quick Mcdonalds lunch. I dont love that the instructions arent super clear. For example, it says to take pictures of the home page top to bottom and has a limit of 4 spaces to load images. But the home page landing goes on forever and ever and I could have easily taken 100 photos.So i uploaded 4 and have more saved.

Maybe it is just the app I used which was doordash. As I scrolled through the restaurant home page, it starts opening up different menu options so it just goes on and on. Hopefully it will be approved.

The ones that I saw were for the kiosk, but if the kiosk is not available when the shopper arrives to the location, the shopper receives no pay. This is a big no for me!
I don't like the kiosk ones but I do like the ones where you order through the McDonalds app and pickup thru drive through. I did do the kiosk jobs when they got really high last time but seems like too many people jumping on these already.
I got me a free drive thru lunch today. I think the drive thru is the easiest one, personally. I pretty much only eat at McDonald's when these come up - gets my hankering for a Filet-o-Fish satisfied for another year.

I might have to look at the drive thru or the ones where you order and pick up at the drive thru. This one wasnt too bad, as long as I understood it correctly and get paid.
Good luck. Rather than letting you know which scenario each shop is up front - and there are about ten listings for each location - you have to open the Presto tab to find out, which puts it in your pending shops for about three minutes while all the other scenarios disappear for that site. You'll get the, "We just reached our limit" notice until the first one drops off in three minutes. I was considering a drive thru but to sort through 10 shops at 3 minutes each, nah.
I had the same problem but I figured it out where if you zoom in on the location you want, about 10 pins will pop up, you can click on the pin and see what the shop requirements are on the bottom of the screen without prompting any new page or the app thinking that you are accepting the shop. I was able to find the Kiosk and Drive Thru easily. Good luck!
I encourage everyone to do these. So they will stop cluttering up Presto, lol.

I jest because I don't personally like McDonald, but as far as work for food shops go, this one at least lets you order what you want, as long as you want McDonalds, and has a fee.
Those McDonald's drink shop is for you folks.. I made the mistake of trying it two other times. I'm not interested in playing their games again.
I did two today, one in the App and pick up, the other a drive thru. I felt the guidelines and survey was very poor and confusing.
1) the guidelines were the exact same for both shops when they should have been different
2) they required all these pictures when I didn’t have that many. So I had to duplicate them and the app does not like that. For example: the Home Screen on the app. They want 4 pictures but I was able to do it in 2. Another example was the drive thru menu. They wanted 3 pics. Well my menu only had two sections
3) some of the questions where you had to select all that applied. Sometimes none of them applied so I left blank. Then I would get an error that an answer was required.

I hope they get accepted. I wish there was an email where I could express my frustration with the surveys

I feel every bit of this. I did two as well with the same issues. I origianlly said I didn't mind these, well I guess I lied! I won't be doing more until.. 1. these two need to get accepted and 2.. they go up in fee. What a pain and yes, so confusing. I only had one pic for the home screen and the same with the menu board, only 2 panels!

I just put drive in the filter and it gives me the drive thru ones. I did one yesterday and it was approved by this morning. Did another one today since it was on my way home. I literally take the photosf ( a couple of each screen for the combo/group meals, etc. later in the survey) in line, and it's about 10 minutes to fill out the survey (one of the few I do on my phone since there's no narrative). Easy $10 and lunch.
I have a question about this. When I click on the link to read the full description - and not accept it - it goes into my incompleted shops but I didn't accept it. This doesn't count against me correct?
Correct - it is just there temporarily, for a few minutes, to give you a chance to review and claim it. If you don't claim it, it just goes back on the board.

You can also just hit the no thanks button. It just removes it from your current shops but it doesn't remove it from the map.

I did a delivery app shop yesterday. Took me over 30 minutes to get all the screenshots necessary and there was a bunch of unclear overlap. It doesnt make sense that they want a screen shot of the homepage and McD homepage that are basically an infinite scroll down. Then they want the same thing sent again for the specific menus and all of the counting of coke and sprite cups got really repetitive. I probably wont do another one of those. The drive thru shop I did today was easy at least.
The delivery one was horrible, I think I took over 40 screen shots and they started blurring together as I’m trying to sort and upload them. Super redundant and never ending pages on the delivery apps. Never again. The drive thru one is super simple though.

Sounds like a shop I do not want to do. I do not eat Mc Donalds food anyway so no great loss!
I had the same thing! There were only two panels, so I included a photo of the entire two panels. It asked about the different drinks and there were none. There was no “N/A” for it. I checked off a drink off to the side of the panel. It is a poorly done survey. There is no place to even make a note for stuff like that.
i reached out to Presto regarding the survey and a scheduler reached out to me yesterday. Here is what she said:

Thanks for your feedback Dawn and I hear you! We did have some glitches yesterday that we are working through on the shop forms. Some of them have been fixed or clarified this morning as they occurred - or were brought to my attention after everyone left for the day.

I took a look at your shops and it seems the different guidelines are there- for mobile order and for drive thru so I am not sure ( noone told me it was an issue to be fixed) if it was a loading issue? I havn't had that come up but I look at your shops and they are a different set of guidelines.

For the multi photo, we DID have to add clarification that if you only have one you can re-use photos if you have to submit. I don't believe it was indicated on the guidelines or in the shop form that a min. 3 was required so I apologize for that. It should be more clear now.

As for the issue with not having any options - I think I know the exact scenario you are speaking of, we are working with the client on that question because we did flag it as a potential issue. We just need to hear back from them on how they want to proceed and that is in the works as we speak.

I am sorry for all of the trouble you had and appreciate your feedback. Trust that we are doing everything we can do fix these issues as they arise. Sometimes we don't see it until they are out in the field so your feedback is very important.

WOW, who or what email did you use to provide feedback? It is invaluable that someone not only responded to you but also addressed the issues. Sometimes these surveys are so badly done. Glad they are working on it because wow was that confusing.
I found the email address after I completed it and I went back into completed evaluations. It is not there anymore, since they were approved today.
Anyone else notice the McDonalds shops are no longer on the Presto App? I have several McDonalds in my area, they were all there last night, today I can't find any.

Just came here to say this. They were there this morning but I had to wait to request the dinner one. I wondering if they are fixing the glitches then will put them back. I did these a couple years ago and remember it being somewhat repetitive but not glitchy.
I need to find out the email. I wish I could. There is an issue I am sure not many others have. Yesterday I took photos of a Dr.Pepper advert on premises. Well, they do not include that drink as a Coke product. If I included it, there was nowhere I could put a message saying why I included it. It would have been removed.

In our county, Dr. Pepper is a Coke product. I know it is not this way in other areas. And the survey said it was a competitor.

I know brands for our county, because I love Dr. Pepper Cherry Zero Sugar. Our county does not carry that flavor. I have to wait for Pepsi to go on sale in a nearby county, to get it from there. Dr. Pepper only goes on sale as a Coke product in this county. It is with the Coke products, and I’ve talked with their reps, who confirmed it is a Coke product.

The MSC and Coke folks are not getting full information in my county.
They may have pulled the shops to fix the glitches. Or there may be quotas that we're unaware of. For instance, if a certain number of one scenario get done in an area, or maybe the whole country, the rest disapper. I had picked out some lunch DTs in the wee hours - too early to assign given the 8 hour deadline - today but as it got closer to the right time, they were gone, but delivery etc. were still there. Pretty sure the lunches did not all get assigned at once in a 50 mile radius. If so, I'd call that the mother of all coincidences.
