Good story to get rate sheets from senior living facilities

What stories do you use to get rate sheets from assisted living facilities? Some are independent living, assisted living and memory care. I find it rather hard to spin a tale where one person or a couple would require all 3 types of services. Any suggestions from you wonderful shoppers? Thanks!

The services are all levels of care and each shop is different based upon that level. The directions will tell you which scenario to use. I think of my own family members or people I know as I go in. Independent living is somone who may want the socialization of a community and is starting to think about downsizing and doesn't want to prepare all of their meals. Assisted living is someone who also needs meals and possibly some help with activities of daily living (i.e. med reminders, etc..). Memory care requires a diagnosis of dementia or alzheimers. Memory care is it's own unit. Long term care is someone bed bound, can't bathe themselves, needs someone to give meds, little to no mobility, etc.. Some long term care also need memory care. I just did the scenario of long term care at a rehab facility. Think in your mind someone who has had a stroke and will need all of their needs met for the rest of their life.

Fatlady must be talking about shops I am seeing at facilities which gave multiple levels of care. The directions ask you to get rates for ALL levels of care. The shops I am seeing require rate sheets for all levels of care if there are multiple levels of care in one facility. I also have issues making up stories to justify anyone requiring all levels.

Say you'd like to have them stay at the same facility for all levels of care, if they were to start slipping.

It's easier to deal with the same staff and friends than to start at a new facility from scratch.
I have said that my parent is in early stage dementia and i want to get her settled into a facility now so the transition is easier as the disease progresses. That kind of covers it all. Plus they usually have packets pre made that include all of the pricing anyway.
I have not seen those, but in that instance, I would do as others have stated and ask the price for all levels as we are looking at what resources we have now to budget for long term.
These shops are not for me because a year ago Spring I was honestly interviewing Sr living facilities and they will remember me. Feel free to use my sad story. MIL had a massive stroke. She was in rehab and needed max care. DH fervently wanted her to recover her facilities enough to be upgraded to assisted living. Thus we asked about 2 types of care. AND as we are Sr citizens ourselves we asked about independent living.
This is good to know. I have not done any of these type of shops. But some of the similar shops that I was interested in, which included a tour, had a minimum age requirement. Hopefully, it'll still be around when I qualify.

I agree with the above. I think conditions with progressive decline in cognitive function and risk fall can check a lot of the boxes.

Please don't feed the MSF trolls!

Feeding the MSF trolls bread or other human food is detrimental to their health and the environment. It can lead to malnutrition, disease, and behavioral problems in trolls, as well as water pollution and the spread of pests. Trolls are capable of finding their own food sources and don't require human assistance.
Dad's Independent, mom was taking care of her sister who has dementia and recently had medical issue and cannot do so anymore. All want to live in the same community.

Mom Is living at home, dad is in an assisted living but is diagnosed with dementia and the community he's at doesn't have memory Care. Mom wants to downsize And have Dad in the same community. What are the options for independent and assisted now and memory Care if that is needed in the near future.
I am looking for a place where my mom can grow old. Right now, she needs independence, as she doesn't want to always be responsible for all her meals. However, as she gets older and requires more advanced care, I don't want her to have to move away from her friends.

We did that with my mother in law, we chose a place she grow with as her needs changed. One that also would not make her leave if her money ran out before she died.
