Audio on site apartment shops

I am doing my first audio shop and will use IPhone smart record app. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I normally will hold my phone while viewing the property in order to avoid the scuffling sound when carried in a pocket. When seated at the desk, I lay it face down on the desk off to the side in front of where I am seated. Pretty easy shops TBH.
Right, you do not want your clothing rubbing against your phone and making distracting, annoying, and possibly noises that muffle the shop conversation. I use my smartphone and put it in my shirt pocket. If necessary, depending upon the shirt I wear during the shop, I can use paper napkins or tissue and/or a clip-on ballpoint pen to make the phone fit snuggly. As a rule, my phone is generally stowed when possible during mystery shops.
I use my IPhone and an app.

I just start recording before I walk in, and carry my phone in hand through the visit with the app recording and a dark screen so no one knows.

It’s produced good results no one has had a problem with.
