July has been such a dead month

Just venting.

how so? lots of new shops popped up. Chipotle/Qdoba.

I've done 26 shops so far in July and I'm a hobby-shopper (mostly dining) sprinkled in with some Wells Fargo phone call complaints.

Very vague posting. Are you a "professional" shopper and are not getting enough assignments to pay the bills or do you live in the boonies and you don't have places like Chipotle/Qdoba/Panda/Texas Roadhouse/BJ's brewhouse/etc?

Is it dead because you don't like what you see and you are being picky? Please explain.
It may depend on the location and how many other shoppers are in your area. This is probably one of the busiest months for me personally
I haven't had a night off all month!
Bigdaddy, a lot depends on where problaine is. I know you guys have a slew of companies that get shopped in CA but they don't even exist in many other places. Such is my issue. Not much variety in businesses here.

But I've been busy with what there is.
@sestrahelena

I'm not in CA anymore. I still have rental properties there, but I moved from CA. If you are in a major metropolitan area (Seattle, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Miami, NYC) I'm sure there are plenty. If you want to live in the boonies, then yes, your opportunities are limited.

The OP makes it sound like it's just this month. Other months must be fine. Maybe someone moved into the OP "territory" and the jobs the OP likes are going to a new shopper. We don't really know because the post is so vague.

I've actually found more things to shop where I live now than I had in SoCal. At least of the things I like/willing to do.
We have all of those places around me here in AL. But they either aren't being shopped or they are going to the bottom feeders who will write 3 page narratives for a meal.
Not my experience.

I've completed 111 shops this month, with a few more booked before month-end.

Would've been more, but I'm out of town for a week for my birthday, with no opportunities to do any shops.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Sorry to read that.. Hope it picks up. In the meantime, you can binge on John Hughes movies.

Been the opposite for me, mostly thanks to the Sticker Removal shops.

I don't think there are any Russians / And there ain't no Yanks

It's always a quiet month for me, in the area I live in. Then, when I travel away from the area, the email offers start.
I can almost set a clock to it lol.

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on
I'm in the San Francisco Bay area in California. It's been slower, but not as slow as June, with less of the usual MSC offerings on the 3rd party platforms. Maybe because so many take vacation time? Summer vacations seem to be shrinking steadily. School for the kids begins here this week and next, and August is already looking better.
Slower in my area, as well. But summer always is. More competition where I'm at for whatever reason.
