stuffed animal shops

I didn't even notice that my list had changed. I just accepted it because I have been doing the same stores for months. Now that I had a minute to look at it, I noticed that there are several stores on there that I had originally gotten rid of because they were nightmares. Some of my better stores are not there. WTF. Why swap stores with other people. I need to draft up an email, gotta get out my old list and get down to nitty gritty.

You are the lucky one. My dad had tons of shops that were the visit twice per month type, and now they all change to monthly, all schedule changed, and 90% of the locations that were within15 miles radius are gone with to the schedule change, the new lists that were given to my dad "as the compensation" were all 30 miles away, and almost none of them were shops that he did in the past, in short, a bran new route

That is awful. I had a bunch that were twice a month as well so this is a huge hit for me too. And the thing is, even if I wanted to pick up extra stores to make up the difference, they have to be done in the first 15 days of the month. I can only do so much. I guess there will be leftovers for the second half that don't get done that are not part of routes but still, not guaranteed work because there are several shoppers where I am doing these and we fight over them.

I was doing all the stores in my small town. I didn’t lose any locations, but everything is monthly now. So I did lose money!
There are too many gas stations available on the job board that I will not do because I have done some MS with that C-store brand as it bounces between MSP and I want to keep that option open. I am in a reasonably dense area and can get away with the support for card merchandising that is infrequent and I also sometimes are in these locations as a regular customer with a route too. Looking to see how the new month falls into place with abrupt changes.
I am still trying to figure out if some people did get an email about repeating usual stores. There were big holes on job board and map that made no sense. I am checking daily to see what comes up. In the meantime, I wonder if the stores will ever get a corporate vendor update saying we are no longer supporting service at your location. Very confusing with last minute changes.
I lost about half my regular jobs when they sent the August list.
I had the same thing happen. I really enjoyed this group of shops.
For anyone who lost locations in August, check the spreadsheet that was sent to you for pre staffing with your app locations. All the ones that went to monthly were not in my app at all. I contacted my scheduler and they were added. They are still monthly instead of bi-monthly, but at least they are still on my route.

My experience was this. From the outset I said to myself, "Only CVS, Walgreens and HEB Supermarkets." These places are stores with plan-o-grams and (more or less) dedicated areas for items. They are generally well staffed and have managers who are responsible for such things as cleaning shelves, facing products, etc.. They almost always put the stock out themselves. Because of that, I have been able to do a lot of work and keep my sanity.

I was coming back to Corpus from San Antonio one night and stopped at a new TA Travel Center in Floresville. They had three stuffed animal displays. One of them had roaches in it. All of them had off-branded stuffed animals in them.
Now they want QR codes placed on display but they are just sending me the list now and now I have to wait for the fed ex package to arrive??? I am doing my visits, if they want me to go back, they will have to pay me again. This is poor planning on their part, not my issue! Aggrevated
I got that as well. Doubt they would pay for anything done today though. I have had shops in the past put on hold for whatever reason. It does happen. Hopefully they did ship on the 31st as indicated.
I received 3 over the weekend that were shipped on the 31st. Now she sent a second list so they were NOT shipped on the 31st. I asked if they would be granting extensions because now I can't do my shops until I get the stickers. She said yes. But still.. another example of bad planning.
If you already did some Aug. stuff you should be paid if they want you to go back unless it was referenced in the guidelines to wait for the stickers.
What I don't understand is if the stuff already shipped, why is the email just getting here today. I am sure many people worked over the weekend.
Because this was a second list. They sent me a list last week so I made sure not to do those stores. But now they are sending a new list and I think she is fooling herself by saying the QR codes were shipped, they is another batch that needs to go out but she is failing to mention that.
I don't remember a first list. What date did you get that please. Today is the first I have heard about stickers.
My first list only had 3 stores on it, it went out on the 28th.
I was told my stickers were not send because I never replied to an email asking for my address to ship them. I can not find said email and I don't delete stuff related to ongoing work.
it really puts me on hold for almost all of mine. Most my routes include both drug stores and 7 Eleven/Speedway. Maybe a few local within a few miles can be done but that is it.
They sent out first batch of QC stickers and the email at the end of July, saying that the instruction on where to put the sticker will be included in the Aug welcome email. The package arrived around 8/1 or 8/2. In that email she specifically told us to HOLD on the shop in the list til the QC sticker arrived, or we will have to go back to finish the shop again.

Around the same time, another lady from the same company shoot me another email asking me give her a date on when I will be visiting a specific store because "Client needs a working phone number to get in hold with the store manager", that store happened to be the store that is put on hold for QC sticker. With all the mess that has been going on, I literally response back with a snip shot of the qc sticker email telling her that I have no ETA because of the email, go read that email yourself. She got embarrassed and told me that "ok ok just go do the shop when you are available, and get the phone number, and everything will be good"

Fast forward to Monday(yesterday) I received another email for 2nd batch of QC stickers email for few more shops, and I was like wtf....can you not just do everything at once? Do you guys not have any idea how much it cost to ship everything by Fedex 2 day?

Maybe all the TY MENSA people did the stores. I never got the 1st email asking for my shipping address which they ship to monthly. If the due dates need to get bumped so be it. I won't be going to the same area twice, that is not the way any of it works.

The problem isn't just the TY side, but also the MSC side.It clearly shows that the MSC is so chaos that not only do they don't communicate effectively. They also don't have a system in place to monitor the status of the jobs/projects. Everybody is just doing things on their own and just hope for the best, which put a lot of unnecessary (mis)comminutions, energy and resources between clients, MSC and contractors.

FWIW the problems seem to all be coming from the TY people, not the MSC. They're as pissed off at TY as we are right now.
And an addedum, maybe there are problems on the MSC side to. They seem to have brought new people onboard with all the tact of a rabid wolverine.
