Presto shops

I’m frustrated because I did a QRS shop where the order was placed online and you had to pick it up in the store. This particular restaurant only had drive through. You could not go into the store, so of course I picked up my order at the drive through. The shop was declined because I did not pick it up inside the restaurant.

These shops may have had a pick-up method assigned such as pick-up in-store or via drive-thru.

But yes, I don't think the locations were verified against the assigned method. After getting used to Presto, you see certain locations and just know a shopper is already set up to fail.

Please don't feed the MSF trolls!

Feeding the MSF trolls bread or other human food is detrimental to their health and the environment. It can lead to malnutrition, disease, and behavioral problems in trolls, as well as water pollution and the spread of pests. Trolls are capable of finding their own food sources and don't require human assistance.
Yes I did dispute it earlier today, but nothing has changed yet, Not sure if they will respond back. I have been mystery shopping for 25 years so it’s not like I made a rookie mistake.
I have learned that disputing a rejection on Presto is a bogus option because:

1. Your rejected shop is immediately back on the job board which indicates that the decision to reject was final.

2. When you submit a dispute ticket, it goes directly back to only the editor who rejected the shop who, of course, will stand by their own original reasoning and desision.

The only success I have had with resolving an unfairly rejected shop is either to get a project manager involved or pick the shop back up off of the job board and resubmit all of the original info with a note explaining why.

My experience is the opposite of Ses':

An inattentive editor denied a recent Famous Highway where the store was permanently closed. I documented as such, and used the best available selection for the status as I was able to make a purchase at the pumps.

They denied me because the shop was not during posted store hours (obviously they did not pay attention to my comments in the report).

I filed an appeal and it was accepted and the shop paid with no further communication.

If the editor does not reverse their position you can escalate it to the project manager for the brand. Contact info should be in the guidelines.

Have synthesizers, will travel...

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
It occurs to me that I rarely look at Presto anymore.
I used to look at it whenever I left home.
Just less and less available there..

Have you disputed the denial? Worth a shot. You can't do something thats impossible.
I disputed a Valet denial and have since been denied access to these shops. Regarding other shops with the same company the restaurant shops are long and tediously difficult. It takes hours to fill out for a $10. shop pay, and then you are not certain you will be paid after forking out some times hundreds of dollars that takes a month and a half for reimbursements. I like both valet shops, restaurant shops even though the pay is below minimum wage for the time it takes. I also have found the help response is slow.
I mostly use presto to search for shops offered by all Sassie companies in a given area instead of going to each individual job board. I'm not really interested in the "instant" shops they offer. I have done maybe 2 or 3 total.
