Thank you! smiling smiley I have been doing MS for over ten years and I am now trying to do it full time. I live in the same town as this cstores headquarters. Trying to find their new MSC.
I am going to try to be more active here instead of just lurking smiling smiley

They have discontinued. I sure hope they come back. There are so many in my area.
7+ yrs. ago, an MSC for whom I had only completed as single shop, had a Casey's I was driving by at $18+$5. As there were only 2 required pics, an overall exterior and the receipt, I completed the job. When, though, it was relisted, the fee had dropped to $8+$5 and 2 additional pics had been added. As I would not be in the area, my offer was $40; it was rejected.

Folks, if you are desperate for money, I understand accepting some work, but $8 with 4 pics, any of which has the potential to cause the work to be declined, is sub bottom paying. Remember, these are multi-billion dollar oil companies and, according to what I have been told, they charge the service station mid-triple digits for the shop. Somebody, and it is not the shopper, is in the cash.
These were discontinued a few years back, sadly.

I think the company got a new CEO, they're going through an expansion phase and buying up some smaller chains and building larger stores in some areas (there's 2 newer locations in my state that are truck stop sized stores), and their stock price has increased significantly over the years.

Edit - when I do stop in these stores now, the condition of the bathrooms is not what it used to be when they still had the shopper program.

I would frequently see them for 10 + 5, and some people in rural areas frequent these stores anyway, and the shop reports used to take about 5-10 minutes. There's a mini route I used to do that had 3 stores in an 11 mile stretch straight down the road. And I could scoop up another gas station with a different company on that same road and do a quick little route in less than an hour. Fringe benefit was that Casey's rewards points build up nicely and could be used for a cash discount on instore merchandise or a discount at the gas pump.
The MSC that most recently offered Casey's shops has the same name as the "Dino the Dinosaur" gasoline brand.

***If you can find one who doesn't keep their restrooms locked. I recently encountered a very nasty female manager when I asked to use a RR. Really wished I was on a MS.

I have never encountered that. Was it in a rural area? Did they say why it was locked?
I know they've bought up a ton of other gas station chains so I'm wondering if it was one that was formerly a different chain.
So many businesses are now either locking their restrooms or not having public restrooms due to extreme vandalism and drug use, unfortunately.
Joanna-
It was in a large metro area. I got the feeling the crew had cleaned for the staff change and didnt want it used. On a side note, I recently visited (25) 7-11s and every single RR was open for use and most were clean and stocked.

MJT9598-
As a former retail manager, I am very familiar with the vandalism and drug use and I understand better than most if they are kept locked. However, now that I am older, I frequently need a RR and it can be very inconvenient when they are unavailable. There was no reason for a manager to be nasty when there were 2 clean RR available.

I figured it had to do with drug use or vandalism. Good to know that 711 had clean restrooms, they bought up a chain (Speedway) in the midwest and have built a few new stores in the area.
