Add-ons @ Panda

I just snagged three online order shops at the tail end of a gas loop for the day.

According to the guidelines, it is now okay to order drinks or additional items if one so desires.

Won't change the online MO, but it will be nice to be able to get an actual beverage when doing a dine-in.

The additional items/drinks thing is only for online shops, I think.
Yes it is only for online shops. Dine in shops is still restrict to one bowl or one plate only, no add on
Kise, are you sure? I don't do dine in shops, but my son does. And I'm fairly sure he got paid for all of his even with ordering a drink and an egg roll. I know he ordered the egg rolls because he brought those out to me in the car when he came out.
I just checked the updated guidelines for dining in and it definitely says do not order anything other than the the plate or bowl.
ok, I'll talk to my son and see if he's had his shops excluded. Still seems to me like the dine in scenario would be the one where you would be most likely to want to order sides or drinks.. FWIW
There isn't a requirement to leave after picking up your online order. Just dine in after completing the pickup. And if you choose the dine in assignment, do the assignment and then suddenly change your mind and go back up to order egg rolls and a drink separately if you want them. I think you can complete these assignments as written and still get what you want if you make sure the addition is fully separate. Heck, if you have the drive through, go around the building and make a second pass because your friend/spouse/whatever just texted and wants you to bring them something. They don't care, it just can't impact your timing.
I thought I read somewhere that you can now add drinks to dine in orders.

But 95 % of the time when I go out to eat, I get water unless the meal comes with a drink and I will get sweet tea..

Yes I know that at one time we could only order a bowl or plate.

hmmm, maybe they are using an older version of the guidelines? I'll have to look and see what I have saved on the desktop. I'm not going to do a Panda for base pay, so it'll be a week or three before I can see the guidelines on this round of shops.
No drinks or add on's for dine in or drive thru. Add whatever you want for online, no discounts or coupons for ANY....
(Guidelines as of yesterday)
The crazy thing is, there is a question about Panda rewards signage. I just did a dine in on Sunday and the only signage was on the drink machine. I just happened to see it as I walked by. Without a drink cup, I really had no business near the drink dispenser. One would think they would want to evaluate the cleanliness around the drink machine.
You do have to evaluate that area. Just not by actually getting a drink.

You're right. Its just strange to me. The self serve area is near it with napkins and untesils but to get up close to the drink machine with no cup and to eat a meal inside without a drink seems odd. I live in the south and most people order a drink of some sort.

Nope. Only online is being changed cos the online report is also changed in a way they would ask you how many bowl/plate you have ordered in the survey, that question does not exist in dine in/drive thu survey. This change does not happen this month, it was implemented for couple months already.

The drink machine is part of the self serv station, which is evaluated.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.
