Are shops done on MLK day

Many shops are not done on holidays. Do we do shops on MLK day?

Don't shop the post office today.

Every shop has its own rules, you have to read to know if it's OK. I did a restaurant on Veteran's Day, that was what they wanted.

All shops should be okay, except post offices and banks which would be closed.
